This detached lodge is a hidden gem nestled in a remote corner of Denbighshire, acting as a romantic retreat for a relaxing break to North Wales. Bod Erw Lodge rests in an elevated position of the village, overlooking breath-taking views of idyllic countryside and coast, which can be seen from your very own private decking, accompanied by a crisp glass of wine as the sun sets. The exterior itself is accessed up 15 steps and into a luxurious open-plan living space, decorated with stylish furnishings and a rustic ambiance; here you can rustle up your best home-cooking for a romantic date night on the lovely dining area.

The accommodation continues to boast a ski chalet-style fused with chic amenities into the spacious shower room, fitted with a double walk-in shower, an illuminating demisting mirror, complimentary Duck Island spa shower gel and a heated towel rail. Following on from here is the sumptuous king-size bed, adorned with Egyptian cotton and beautiful themes throughout; you even have the added luxury of complimentary robes and slippers to keep you comfortable whilst on your stay. Travel west along the coast to Gwrych Castle, just 10 miles away, this 19th century castle near Abergele sits in a privately owner 236 acre estate. Now open to the public, The Gwrych Castle Preservation Trust aim to preserve the heritage of the Grade One castle for all to enjoy and raise funds for restoration through learning more about the architectural and historical importance of this striking landmark.

    Well designed, styled and equipped and in a beautiful setting. Great hosts have thought of everything you’d want and added some lovely elevated touches to make this a really comfortable stay. We loved it.
