Enjoying an elevated position with stunning views over the surrounding countryside and surrounded by pretty terraced gardens, Bryn Rodyn is the perfect place to relax and unwind. Whilst the detached property enjoys a quiet and secluded location it is only half a mile from the village. A wider range of amenities can be found in the historic market town of Ruthin which is just 3 miles away. Dating back to 13th century, Ruthin has several interesting buildings which include an old jail, 13th century church and castle. Alternatively Mold is 12 miles and Wrexham 13 miles. Located in the Clwydian Mountain Range which is a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, it is a great base for those who love the great outdoors. There are lots of lovely walks in the area including a circular walk from the village which links to the Offa’s Dyke trail and takes in views over the vale of Clwyd. Other popular activities in the area include cycling, horse riding and fell running. The area is abundant in wildlife and there are several country parks in the area including Loggerheads (9 miles), Moel Famau (12 miles) and Ty Mawr (18 miles). Across the border into England historic Chester with its city walls, cathedral, famous races and zoo is a 40 minute drive and vibrant Liverpool just under an hour’s drive. For those who prefer a coastal landscape the beaches of Rhyl, Prestatyn and Talacre are within a 45 minute drive or why not visit the Victorian seaside town of Llandudno which is just under an hour. Shop 3 miles, pub 500 yards, restaurant 3½ miles.

    A great Cottage, loads of wildlife to watch, everything you could need to make it feel like home from home, beds are comfy and its up at quiet track so no passing traffic

    Very welcoming, comfortable and with everything you need. Will definitely be going back at some point absolutely a brilliant week.

    The cottages is warm and very clean however there are to many ornaments and not enough space to put your food supplies, the drive is a but rough up to the cottage you would not find in the dark 😀 however we would recommend Bryn Rodyn we have had a lovely stay and maby next time try the summer Ifor and Angela are very nice and helpful so thank you for a great week 😀
