Travel down the private driveway and park up off-road, before entering the home through the gateway leading to the side of the property. Find the key box on the right-hand side of the first door with keys giving access to either the well-equipped kitchen/diner or through the second door, a little further along, into the handy utility/boot room. Kick off your shoes, relax and enjoy the start of your self-catered stay. Dine indoors or bask in your surroundings a little longer by dining upon the privately secluded patio or enjoy breath-taking vistas from the front of the property. Return indoors to catch up on your favourite programme upon the Smart TV, with the electric fire alight for a warming ambience; the sitting room is delightfully styled, with sympathetically preserved beams and stonework in sight. When sleep calls, climb the stairs to rest your eyes in the main bedroom with king-size bed before refreshing in the shower room with the use of gowns and slippers. Box off any work or enjoy the small nook of the first-floor snug, before grabbing your walking boots and exploring the area, starting off with a hike up to Gop Hill Cairn, or following the walking trails towards Rhaeadr Dyserth Waterfall and its stunning landscape. Take to the coast to stroll along both Prestatyn Beach and Rhyl Beach with a bag of fish and chips in hand or venture along to Talacre’s beach and lighthouse, close to the RSPB Point of Ayr. Take a drive to the bustling town of Llandudno, where you can enjoy strolls along the pier, attend an event at Venue Cymru, or take the vintage tram to the summit of the Great Orme, with superb views of the North Wales coastline, or if you prefer, regular train services from Prestatyn and Rhyl are also available to transport you to Llandudno and Conwy with its 13th century Castle, built by Edward I and many other interesting towns a little further afield. Why not take a drive to the famous Snowdonia Mountain Range and for the more adventurous have a go on the exhilarating ride at Zip World, high above the Penrhyn Quarries. Round off your getaway in Chester, brimming with beauty and history, with tours of the Chester City Walls, visits to Chester Cathedral, picnics at Grosvenor Park, and sunny days alongside River Dee all possible, before returning home in time for supper. A little community called Trelawnyd is located at the foot of Gop Hill, which is crowned with the second-highest man-made mound in Britain. It is four miles from Prestatyn, a seaside town in beautiful North Wales. Local treks such Gop Hill, the North Wales Pilgrim's Way, Offa's Dyke, the Clwydian Way, and Allt Y Craig are easily accessible. You can take in the stunning landscapes and surroundings of the neighbourhood from these trails. The community includes two bars that provide food, and a convenience store and petrol station to ease self-catered stays. The picturesque Snowdonia National Park, the Clwydian Hill Range, Victorian Llandudno, the Welsh Mountain Zoo, or mediaeval Chester with its exquisite stores and architecture can all be visited from Trelawnyd.
