Guests consistently praise the cottage for its cleanliness, spaciousness, and beautiful location. The accommodation is described as well-equipped, with a large garden and stunning views. The local pub and shop add to the charm, and the host, Gill, is commended for her thoughtfulness. While most experiences are positive, a few guests suggest updates to decor and fittings.
The cottage receives high marks for cleanliness, with multiple reviews noting it as spotless and very clean. Only one review mentioned a minor issue with a shower trap, but this seems to be an isolated incident.
The location is highly praised for its peacefulness, beautiful views, and proximity to local amenities and attractions. It is described as a quiet village within easy reach of tourist spots, contributing to a high score.
Comfort is frequently mentioned, with guests finding the beds comfy and the cottage cosy and spacious. However, one review mentioned dated and lumpy beds, slightly lowering the score.
Facilities are generally well-regarded, with mentions of a well-equipped kitchen and essential appliances. However, some guests noted the need for updates and one mentioned the lack of a coffee maker, indicating room for improvement.
Guests appreciate the thoughtful touches like a welcome pack with wine and biscuits. While these gifts are warmly received, it is important to note that such offerings are subject to change and may not be guaranteed for every stay.

A lovely cottage and wonderful stay. Gill rang me the day before to double check everything, which was really appreciated. She texted me on the day to say we could get in earlier, coming from nearly 200 miles away this was very well received 😊 the heating had been turned on which made it all the more comfortable. Plenty of room for the 5 of us, the rooms were lovely, well presented and spacious. Kitchen well stocked with equipment and utensils. Washing machine was sooo useful! Beautiful location, lovely little village. The shop was useful and the pub, both community run, was very welcoming and friendly. I would definitely recommend to anybody thinking of traveling to the beautiful north Wales area. The bottle of wine and biscuits on arrival were very welcomed!! Thank you again so much 😊
