Blue cottage is peaceful with hints of days of old, a delightful space to forget the stresses of modern life. With a charming garden and elevated seating area to really take in the vista.. 1 step to entrance.

Electric central heating and electricity by £1 or £2 meter. Bed linen and towels included. Initial logs for wood burner included.. Garden with sitting out area. Private parking for 1 car. No smoking. Please note: Access to the cottage is via 3 farm gates and a rough track. The sea is 200 yards away.. A collection of three quaint cottages situated right next to the coastal path with the most magical uninterrupted sea views. When you step into these cottages it is a glimmer of a time gone by. Accessed through National Trust Land, there are no through roads, and they sit completely tranquil in their fitting surroundings. A great opportunity to take a digital detox from modern life.
A few hundred yards from the door you’ll find some steps which lead directly down to the pebble beach. The lovely village of Trefor offers the best of both worlds, with mountains and miles of coastline to explore. There is a small grocery store in the village, for more amenities a car is a must. Here you really are in the heart of all that the Llyn Peninsula has to offer, with lakes, coastal paths, fishing, bike trails, Snowdonia National Park, and popular tourist towns all within easy reach.
There are many beaches to explore in the area - you will be spoilt for choice! Just down the road, you will find popular Dinas Dinlle beach with wonderful views across the bay to Anglesey. Caernarfon Castle is only a short drive away, an imposing unesco World Heritage site, a great place to spend the day and grab a bite to eat in one of the many cafés, restaurants or friendly pubs. You are also within easy reach of bustling Pwllheli, Morfa Nefyn, Criccieth and Porthmadog, home to the Welsh Highland Railway. There is also Glasfryn Park where you can enjoy many activities such as go-karting, archery, crazy golf and many water sports to name a few.
Blue can be booked together with Red (UK43121) and Yellow (UK43117) to accommodate larger groups.

The location is idyllic, coast path on the doorstep, sunsets over the sea, hills to climb, swimming from a rocky beach just below, deserted except for a couple of fishermen. We loved the cottage with its old-fashioned feel, no mod cons except a great modernised bathroom. Highly recommended.

A nice disconnect from the strains of modern living. No tv, no WiFi, no signal. It was truly peaceful. Location was great. Remote, but that was what we were looking for. Beach and coastline on doorstep. Electric meter. Faff getting coins.

This was our second stay at Blue, the first being right over the weekend of Storm Darragh. The cottage was a wonderful place to hunker down and keep warm in the storm, but it was also beautiful when the weather was warm and sunny this last week. Perfectly peaceful (especially as there was limited mobile phone signal), and a great place for the coastal path walks that we love. The instructions to get to the cottage we’re clear, and Charlie our contact was on hand to respond to queries quickly. We’ll definitely return!
