Set within 40 acres of mature trees and positioned beside a 6‑acre fishing lake, the lodge enjoys a setting where wildlife, open skies, and the gentle presence of the lake shape the rhythm of each day. Inside, the lodge features a wooden, rustic interior that reflects the natural surroundings. The single-storey layout centres around an open-plan living space, where the kitchen, dining area, and sitting area flow together to create a sociable hub.
It’s a space designed for shared moments, whether that’s preparing meals, lingering at the dining table, or unwinding in the sitting area with the TV after time spent outdoors. Natural light filters through the windows, keeping the outdoors firmly part of the experience. The sleeping accommodation includes two bedrooms, one double and one twin, making the lodge well-suited to couples, friends, or a small family. Each room is simply arranged, offering a calm place to retreat to after days spent exploring the grounds. A shower room with a walk-in shower, basin, heated towel rail, and WC completes the interior and fits neatly into the layout.
Step outside and the wider setting invites you to linger. The 6‑acre lake remains a focal point throughout the year, drawing anglers and wildlife, while the surrounding woodland provides shaded paths and quiet corners to explore. For days out, enjoy Criccieth’s coastal character and castle views, spend time in Pwllheli with its harbour atmosphere and family-friendly spots, or head to Porthmadog for cafés, shops, and a lively seaside feel. Often described as the 'Pearl of Wales on the shores of Snowdonia’, now known as Eryri, this delightful seaside town is situated just 5 miles from Porthmadog. The town’s 13th-century castle perches majestically on a rocky outcrop, dominating the skyline and offering superb views of Tremadog Bay and the Eryri mountains. Watersports enthusiasts will be delighted by the two beaches, whilst walkers and bikers are spoilt for choice by the proximity of the beautiful Eryri National Park. Stroll along the beaches, watch porpoises playing in the surf, or relax in the various pubs, restaurants and tea rooms, sampling the famous Cadwalader’s ice cream. Further afield, attractions such as Portmeirion’s wonderful Italianate gardens, the Ffestiniog and Welsh Highland Railway in Porthmadog, Harlech Castle, Caernarfon Castle and the beautiful beaches and renowned golf courses of the Llyn Peninsula are all within an easy drive.
