No stag or hen parties, family bookings only!. Jack’s House in the coastal town of Tywyn is perfect for any time of year, with a patio with seating and a barbecue for the warmer evenings. The kitchen is equipped with all modern conveniences including a coffee machine and an American-style fridge/freezer, and with seven bedrooms in total, three with en-suite facilities, and a further bathroom and a shower room, all with their own walk-in shower.
Local pubs, restaurants and shops are within easy walking distance of the house along with The Magic Lantern Cinema which is well worth a visit. Why not take the Wales Coast Path north, over the Dysynni river and towards the ruins of the old army camp in Tonfannau. A short drive east along the winding Bro Dysynni Valley will take you to the imposing and majestic Craig yr Aderyn (Bird Rock) and the silence and tranquility of Castell y Bere castle. Or you can take the Talyllyn Railway steam train from Tywyn to Abergynolwyn, and explore the many paths and ridges of this quiet, spectacular corner of Wales.If you don’t want to travel by car or public transport, it’s possible to walk to nearby Aberdyfi along the sandy beach. You will find a bustling, chocolate-box pretty harbour village. Also within easy walking distance is Ynysmaengwyn park and woodland, the site of a ruined mansion. Jack’s House is also only 30 miles from Snowdonia National Park.

Lovely house, beautifully furnished, fully equipped and very central. Accross the road from the train station, only a minutes drive to the beach (parking at the beach) or 10 minutes walk if that. Coop next to the train station and lots of lovely coffee and gift shops up the high street. The games rooms with pool table and table tennis were very popular with the kids and the views from the kitchen were of beautiful Welsh countryside. Would definitely recommend for a large family or group of friends.

6 adults and 6 children aged 7-15. We had an amazing weekend here. Loved the personal contact available from the team and lots of ideas for what to do. The property suits all ages with plenty of room and was very comfortable. Location is great - from beach to mountains to steam trains and so much more.
