Guests say

Delfryd is a well-received holiday cottage with stunning views and a prime location for exploring North Wales and Anglesey. Guests praise its cleanliness, comfortable furnishings, and the thoughtful touches provided by the owners. While most feedback is overwhelmingly positive, a few guests noted issues with comfort and maintenance.

The majority of guests found Delfryd to be spotlessly clean, with only one mention of a cleaning oversight regarding a dishwasher filter. The overwhelming positive feedback justifies a high score.

The location is consistently lauded for its stunning views and convenience as a base for exploring the surrounding areas. It is described as peaceful with easy access to local attractions.

Comfort receives high marks for the property's warmth and cosiness. However, there are a few remarks about uncomfortable sofas and beds, which suggests room for improvement.

Facilities are generally well-regarded, with the property being well-equipped for self-catering. Some minor maintenance issues were noted, such as a roller blind and a bathroom layout concern, but these are infrequent comments.

Guests frequently mention and appreciate the thoughtful extras, such as welcome packs and treats. While these are highly valued, it is noted that such gestures are subject to the owners' discretion and may not be guaranteed.

It was better and cleaner than we expected. The area was nice and quiet and in the perfect spot not too far from Bangor or Caernarfon. Nice new comfy sofa and looking out down the Menia was great. We would definitely stay here again.

It is an absolute pleasure to stay in this property, the views are absolutely amazing, looking across the Menai Straits to Anglesey, which is so close. The views are ever-changing with the tides, time of day and weather, it's difficult to tear yourself away from the huge patio window from which the sunset is amazing. The house is extremely warm, cosy, clean, very well equipped and inviting, even storm Darragh, recently ,couldn't change that as we stayed tucked up and protected whilst it raged outside. We received a telephone from the owner to kindly check that we were okay, her contact was very warm and welcome. The location of the property is also excellent, there is so much to do on the doorstep and further afield. We enjoyed walks along the Straits, through the woods even to/from Caernarfon. The local bus service is excellent. The Marina is a delightful place to wander around and maybe have a drink or something to eat at Swellies, which is a lovely, friendly cafe bar

The view from the lounge and main bedroom was great overlooking the Menai Straight and the marina entrance with all the different yachts and boats coming and going.
