Amazing place to stay. Brilliant location with fantastic views. Even better than the photos and very spacious with 2 living rooms.Yes it's a little bit run down inside but everything is functional - oven and hob work fine and the electric heater in the front room works fine too. Only things we found were a couple of drawers/cupboards falling apart and the extractor fan in the kitchen not working. These things did not impact our stay in the slightest, and we found it to be perfect! The kitchen is well equipped with everything you might need, as well as an extra fridge. It's located in a really lovely place with friendly people. Highly recommend the Chinese takeaway! Parking wasn't an issue, we were able to pull up close to the property to unload, other cars could still squeeze past, and then there were plenty of spaces to park further down the road.Overall we found this place to be brilliant value for money and great for a family of 5.

We enjoyed our recent stay at Llys Aled. It served the purpose for our trip and location was excellent for exploring North Wales. Views were incredible. The bathroom and towels could do with updating. The steps down to the entrance were very steep and in the unfortunate wet weather we had were a little difficult for some members of our party! The listing states an open fire, this wasnt available, instead an electric fire in place that was not working. However the cottage was very warm and cosy. Cooking was a little bit of a hasle as we could not seem to get the oven to work. Extractor fan and oven hood light were also not working. We managed to get the grill working and used the hob for any cooking we needed. Beds were comfortable and clean. Living room was cosy. Dining room/table was perfect for our party and views from here were exceptional. Would recommend for those looking for a good base in North West Wales that dont intend on spending too much time indoors.
