Guests adore the cottage's prime location with stunning views, proximity to amenities, and the dramatic coastline. The well-equipped kitchen, comfortable beds, and cosy lounge with a fire are highlights. The garden and patio offer delightful spaces to relax. Some guests noted issues with comfort due to low seating and the need for a handrail for accessibility.
The property is generally well-received, but one review mentioned dust and an infestation of ladybirds, suggesting room for improvement in cleanliness.
The location is consistently praised for its fabulous views, peacefulness, and convenience to both the harbour and town, making it a standout feature.
While beds are described as comfy and the cottage as homely, some guests found the seating uncomfortable, particularly for those with mobility issues.
Facilities are generally well-regarded, with a well-equipped kitchen and modern bathrooms. However, some guests noted a slippery kitchen floor and the need for a handrail outside, indicating some areas need attention.
There is no mention of gifts or extra thoughtful touches in the reviews, so it is not possible to assess this category.

Stayed for Christmas with our elderly dad and dogs. The cottage was more spacious than we expected and the grounds are expansive. The cottage is warm and welcoming, the beds are so comfy, kitchen well equipped and we loved the snug lounge with the fire. It was very peaceful and relaxing. The only slight niggle for us was the steps leading down to the quay perhaps needs a hand rail for more elderly or mobility challenged people. We will definitely be booking to return very soon

Perfect homely cottage in ideal location. Comfortable beds, everything you'd want is provided plus more eg maps, DVDs, books etc. lovely seating outside, photos don't do justice to the site and views. Info does refer to the steep hill up to the Upper Town but it's ok and I'm 72 and recovering from an op. The town is well worth visiting for food etc. but could be tricky in icy or slippy conditions.
