There is a selection of cafés, galleries, restaurants and a pretty harbor in lower town where you can join some of 186 miles beautiful coastline within the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park. This spacious all on one level property offers the perfect base to discover West Wales, and has been lovingly furnished throughout. The spacious living room is perfect for relaxing and enjoying sea views, and the well-equipped modern open plan kitchen/dining room is perfect for socializing whilst preparing that special meal or relax on the comfy sofas and enjoy the views. The kitchen leads onto a large conservatory with picture post card harbor views, where you can enjoy sitting with a glass of wine or early morning coffee. Step outside onto the large patio area the perfect place to enjoy the sea air, sunbath or enjoying a family barbecue with lawned garden surrounding the property.
Within a 15-minute drive you can discover Newport Sands, Popit Sands and Abercastle where you can swim, surf, fish, sunbath or enjoy a spot of golf. Enjoy a trip to the famous city of St David’s, Britain’s smallest city, at the most westerly point of Wales and the final resting place of the Patron Saint of Wales, Saint David. Further north along this coast you will uncover the historic market town of Cardigan with river Teifi meandering through with a castle and Poppit beach close by. Oakwood, Wales’ largest theme park, is a fun day out for all the family, and located only 40 minutes away, or for those with younger families, be sure to visit Folly Farm Zoo where you can see rhinos, giraffes and even lions! A spacious, luxurious bungalow in a very quiet close with outstanding views across Fishguard, Goodwick and the bay. Generally very clean, refreshingly uncluttered, with comfortable seating and beds. The outdoor laundry room and toilet were admittedly a bit odd, though fine to access in the summer. The laundy room was actually a little rough, compared to the rest of the house, but perfectly usable. The electric carpet sweeper was lovely - far better than the horrible-smelling (and often full) vacuum cleaners usually supplied by owners. The floor-standing fan was another unusual and much needed accessory.On a not-very-negative note, there were a small number of wall marks and water stains about the place that we wouldn't like to get blamed for, and some evidence of minor mould issues in one of the bedrooms and the bathroom. But really the only 'bad' thing were the spider webs (some with spiders!) behind a lot of the larger furniture, including beds, suggesting that they're not being pulled out for hoovering very often. (Understandable, as they are substantial.) But most of the house was spotless, and the cleaners do deserve thanks. In sum, wish we could afford to return!
