Each room has been lovingly furnished with an open and airy feel throughout, and you can enjoy al fresco dining from the patio with the pleasantness of a sea breeze and stunning views.
The cottage has unparalleled views and is literally a just a stone’s throw from the sea, so is perfect for a romantic break or couples retreat. This location, on the edge of the charming fishing and sailing village of Dale, is just perfect. There is a pub on the edge of the sea, which serves fantastic food and locally brewed ales, and from where you can dine al fresco whilst enjoying further magnificent views. A yacht club, restaurant and a water sports centre are all within the village too. The beach is just minutes away for an early morning stroll, or for those more active, for a refreshing swim or jog.
The bright and airy open plan kitchen, dining and living area is a perfect social space and centres around those magnificent sea views. The master bedroom enjoys en-suite facilities and again boasts those amazing sea views - enjoy a glass of wine on an evening on the patio, and take in the balmy summers day. There is a communicating door between Cliff Cottage and Sunray, meaning guests who book both properties can stay easily in touch with this rather groovy feature! Locally, the beautiful sandy beach of West Dale is within walking distance, or take a short drive to the stunning beaches of Musslewick and Marloes Sands. Not to be missed for the ultimate wildlife adventure, you can take a boat trip from Martin’s Haven to the islands of Skokholm and Skomer, where you will be sure to be amazed by the puffins, manx shearwaters, razorbills, harbour porpoises and Atlantic seals to name a few!
Avid walkers can also take a stroll along some of the 186 miles of Pembrokeshire Coast National Park footpath that runs from Amroth in the south, passing through Dale, and onto Cardigan in the north - be sure to bring along some binoculars and a camera! The coastal resort of Tenby is surrounded by medieval walls which were built to fortify the town, and these are still in place to this very day, compete with arches into the town leading to the cobbled streets and harbour. Had a lovely time while were there exploring the area, particularly super from Dale to Monk Haven. Sadly the cottage had no facilities to to hang or dry wet walking gear. The mats were a trip hazzard and we moved them out of the way while we were there. The seating , two chairs were not the most comfortable and a sofa and comfy chair would make the place more comfortable and relaxing.

Its a beautiful location. The views from the cottage are beautiful. The area is beautiful too. The village really is a five minute walk. The pub wasnt open every day and the cafe and shop were closed all the time. It was late Oct so wasnt expecting much. Went at that time because it would be quiet. Heating of cottage was good, lots of hot water. Weather was mild and mostly sunny and the few locals I met were friendly and helpful.
