Cwm Eithin (Cerbid) is a spacious, well-equipped cottage in a peaceful, secluded setting, ideal for those seeking relaxation and access to beautiful coastal walks. Guests praise its comfort, tranquil atmosphere, and proximity to local attractions like St David’s and Solva. While the cottage is generally clean and homely, some areas could benefit from updating and deeper cleaning. The grounds are private but not fully secure for dogs, and a few maintenance issues were noted. Overall, it offers a charming retreat for families and dog owners looking to unwind in a picturesque part of Wales.
Most guests found the cottage clean and comfortable, though a few mentioned dust behind appliances and the need for a deeper clean in the shower room and garden area.
The location is highly praised for its peace, seclusion, and proximity to stunning beaches and coastal walks, though it is remote and requires driving to reach shops and restaurants.
Guests consistently mention comfortable beds, spacious rooms, and a relaxing atmosphere, with only minor issues such as a broken spring in one bed.
The cottage is well-equipped and spacious, but some guests noted dated décor, patchy WiFi, drainage noises, and a need for more kitchen equipment and garden maintenance.
There are no mentions of welcome gifts or extra thoughtful touches in the reviews, so a score cannot be provided for this category.

This is a lovely quiet cottage which is very well equipped. It is about 15 minutes drive from Solva, St David’s and Porthgain so not for you if you want facilities on the doorstep. We loved it and would stay again

A lovely cottage in remote, peaceful location. Lovely bedrooms, bathrooms, lounge and kitchen. Well equipped. Traditional furnishings added character.Plenty of outdoor space though not secure for dogs. The quiet location meant travel required around narrow lanes if wanting to eat out. Porthgain only 15 min drive with great food and drink at Sloop Inn and The Shed. Sadly, no info at cottage about local pubs/restaurants or food shops - nearest supermarket at St David’s (CKs - not great) otherwise the usual big ones at Haverfordwest.

A lovely restful week with the family. Lots of wonderful coastal walks nearby. The house was a home from home and had everything we needed. Thank you for a great stay.
