Close to the golden, sandy beach at Broad Haven, this super contemporary cottage is perfect for families and friends planning a holiday together in the glorious Pembrokeshire Coast National Park. Beautifully furnished and fitted, the semi-detached property sleeps eight guests across four spacious bedrooms. The family-friendly beach is a favourite for safe swimming and water sports, and there are splendid scenic walks along the coast path. Shops, cafes, restaurants and pubs are all within an easy stroll.

Head upstairs to the wonderfully light and airy open-plan lounge/kitchen diner. Leather sofas provide comfortable seating in front of a cosy Scandinavian wood burner, and the attractive kitchen has a raised dining table with breakfast bar seats. Also on this floor is a super-king-sized bedroom, where you can stargaze in bed through a glass ceiling panel. Downstairs are a superb family bathroom with its own TV and three further bedrooms: a luxurious super-king size with an en-suite, a king-size and a full-size bunk room, plus an additional trundle bed if required. Outside, climb an external spiral staircase to your own private terrace with lovely far-reaching sea views. There is also a private area to the side of the cottage, along with shared gardens and a BBQ.

Broad Haven shops sell or hire water sports equipment, while a village surf school offers lessons from age eight upwards and family groups, too. Catch a close-up of resident puffins on a day trip to beautiful Skomer Island, an important nature reserve less than 1 mile off the coast. Boats leave from Martin’s Haven (9.5 miles), and you may spot seals and dolphins on the journey. Further afield, enjoy another day out at Oakwood theme park (16 miles), offering family fun for all ages.
