We had a lovely holiday in this very pleasant cottage

We enjoyed our stay at the cottage, a much needed break. The cottage is well equiped for a comfortable stay, the bed is very comfortable too. You have to be prepared to walk or drive to visit nearby villages, as the cottage is quite remote. We enjoyed our daily walks into Solva harbour with our dog, but were aware of traffic as there werent many causeways, and the roads are narrow. The walks were worth it, for the beautiful views over hills&sea! A drive into St Davids was also worth the trip, a beautiful, quaint 'city' with picturesque Cathedral & Castle ruins, amazing! We are aware there were much more sights to visit, but we were happy with what we did during our 5days, and went home fully recharged for the rest.

This is a fantastic cottage particularly if you want peace and quiet. Beautiful location adjoining one other holiday cottage sharing common land but with its own garden. Parking for one car. There are steps down to the entrance. Well laid out and has a well equipped kitchen, 2 dining tables and a log burner in the lounge area. Small lobby at the entrance ideal for a dog. Furnished in a traditional style with a 3 piece suite, coffee table and TV with DVD player. Slightly let down by a very poor wifi signal which means streaming is not an option not working from 'home'.Telephone for incoming calls and emergencies. Smart bathroom with shower over bath and 2 bedrooms, 1 double, 1 twin. Easy access to Solva where numerous coastal walks available. Plenty of gift shops and galleries and pubs. The Harbour for its view and can recommend the Hats and Barrels. Close by the cottage, in Middle Mill, a 10 minute stroll is the Solva Woolen Mill with working Dobcross loom and gift shop/ cafe. Wonderful cottage , we've been visiting for over 30 years.
