The first thing you notice when you enter is the smell of damp, and this was in June, the hall and bedrooms all smelled of damp and the kitchen had a slight smell of oil, there is evidence of damp throughout especially in the kitchen with plaster coming off the walls, the 3 portable radiators were all on and there was a soaking wet towel drying on a chair, there was no welcome book or instruction manual so we had to work things out for ourselves, the cooker hob did not work and neither did the shower, every time you used a hot water tap the immersion heater made a loud rumbling noise heard throughout the house, the furniture is old and uncomfortable and smelled a bit musty, nice view from the garden but the garden itself was yellow grass, uneven with small holes deep enough to twist your ankle, outside is overgrown and with uneven, dirty slabs, the bedding was clean but had an overpowering smell of detergent which lasted all week, overall a big disappointment

Booked for 4 nights but only stayed for 2 - Prior to arrival we tried to contact the owner for the key code to the property , but nobody picked up my calls. On the day of arrival at 3pm we tried to check in but the caretaker??? was not expecting us and could not find our booking, he told us to return in 2 hours so he could clean the property, which was not a good start.Outside the home was very run down and the gardens were overgrown. The home itself was clean but more shabby than chic, it was cold with only 3 small oil radiators to service the bungalow, the arrival book stated that there were problems with the oven which could trip all the electrics and other problems with the shower, suffice to say we choose not to use either. On a positive note the view from the home overlooking the harbour and bay was a million dollars I doubt you would find better in the whole of Pembs.

We had a lovely holiday.Cottage was comfy, spacious and well provided. There is work to be done but it did not spoil the overall experience. It would be difficult to park a big car,The view is the best in West Wales
