Nestled peacefully in the seaside resort of Amroth in Pembrokeshire’s iconic National Park, this detached former barn, adjacent to the owners’ home, has been restored to a very good standard, retaining much of its original charm and character, whilst combining all the contemporary amenities for that unforgettable holiday experience. Clam Cottage has been attractively decorated throughout with an open-plan living area, gallery-style bedroom with exposed beams and beautifully restored stone walls. Outside, guests can enjoy their own private, lawned garden with a patio area, perfect for unwinding after a busy day’s adventure. From the edge of the doorstep, visitors can stroll into the charming village which features a collection of tasteful pubs and restaurants, gift shops (which are fully open throughout the summer months) and a sandy beach which enjoys spectacular views along the coast. Just a stone’s throw away are the picturesque harbour towns of Saundersfoot and Tenby, offering irresistible seafood restaurants, golden beaches and thrilling leisure attractions, including Folly Fram and Manor House Wildlife Park. Take a boat ride and explore the off-shore islands of Caldey and share the serenity and tranquillity of the Cistercian monks on Cadley Island, or take a sea safari along the dramatic coast, cruising close to sea birds, seals and the occasional bottlenose dolphin. Golf and horse riding nearby. Beach 500 yards. Shop, pub and restaurant 500 yards.

We have stayed in Clam Cottage several times. Always clean and well equipped. In a great location in Amroth with Wisemans Bridge and Saundersfoot within walking distance.

A wonderful stay in Amroth – 5 starsWe had such a lovely week at Clam Cottage. It was a perfect base for exploring Amroth and the surrounding Pembrokeshire coast, with beautiful beaches, coastal walks and plenty of places to visit nearby.The cottage was comfortable and welcoming, and we really enjoyed being able to see the sea from the garden. Some of our favourite memories were watching a beautiful sunrise over the water, seeing the Harvest Moon glowing through the clouds, and standing outside one evening watching a line of satellites pass across the night sky.Hector loved his holiday too! There were so many lovely walks and beaches to explore, and although we all came home rather tired from the hills, we had a fantastic time.We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would happily recommend Clam Cottage to anyone looking for a relaxing break on this beautiful part of the Pembrokeshire coast.
