Nestled peacefully in the seaside resort of Amroth in Pembrokeshire’s iconic National Park, this detached former barn, adjacent to the owners’ home, has been restored to a very good standard, retaining much of its original charm and character, whilst combining all the contemporary amenities for that unforgettable holiday experience. Clam Cottage has been attractively decorated throughout with an open-plan living area, gallery-style bedroom with exposed beams and beautifully restored stone walls. Outside, guests can enjoy their own private, lawned garden with a patio area, perfect for unwinding after a busy day’s adventure. From the edge of the doorstep, visitors can stroll into the charming village which features a collection of tasteful pubs and restaurants, gift shops (which are fully open throughout the summer months) and a sandy beach which enjoys spectacular views along the coast. Just a stone’s throw away are the picturesque harbour towns of Saundersfoot and Tenby, offering irresistible seafood restaurants, golden beaches and thrilling leisure attractions, including Oakwood Theme Park and Manor House Wildlife Park. Take a boat ride and explore the off-shore islands of Caldey and share the serenity and tranquillity of the Cistercian monks, or take a sea safari along the dramatic coast, cruising close to sea birds, seals and the occasional bottlenose dolphin. We had an excellent 5 night stay at Clam cottage, our second visit to the cottage. The cottage has everything you need and is spotlessly clean. Great location near the beach with easy coastal walk to Saundersfoot. Plenty of places in the village to have a drink although opening times varied due to the season. Lots to explore in the area and really useful to have a bus stop just down the road.

Beautiful cottage in a beautiful location. Malc and Dawn made sure our stay was 'home from home' and were excellent hosts as well as being very knowledeable on the area. A lovely welcome pack that was much appreciated whilst waiting for our food delivery. The cottage is very well equipped for dogs with a large enclosed garden, dog treats, bowls and towels. Walks from the door as well as numerous beautiful beaches within easy driving distance. Tesco delivered to the door so we had all provisions. We thoroughly enjoyed revisiting the area and enjoyed it so much we are planning to return next year.
