Nestled peacefully in the seaside resort of Amroth in Pembrokeshire’s iconic National Park, this detached former barn, adjacent to the owners’ home, has been restored to a very good standard, retaining much of its original charm and character, whilst combining all the contemporary amenities for that unforgettable holiday experience. Clam Cottage has been attractively decorated throughout with an open-plan living area, gallery-style bedroom with exposed beams and beautifully restored stone walls. Outside, guests can enjoy their own private, lawned garden with a patio area, perfect for unwinding after a busy day’s adventure. From the edge of the doorstep, visitors can stroll into the charming village which features a collection of tasteful pubs and restaurants, gift shops (which are fully open throughout the summer months) and a sandy beach which enjoys spectacular views along the coast. Just a stone’s throw away are the picturesque harbour towns of Saundersfoot and Tenby, offering irresistible seafood restaurants, golden beaches and thrilling leisure attractions, including Folly Fram and Manor House Wildlife Park. Take a boat ride and explore the off-shore islands of Caldey and share the serenity and tranquillity of the Cistercian monks on Cadley Island, or take a sea safari along the dramatic coast, cruising close to sea birds, seals and the occasional bottlenose dolphin. Golf and horse riding nearby. Beach 500 yards. Shop, pub and restaurant 500 yards.

We really enjoyed our week away at Clam Cottage. All home comforts thought of. Welcome package was a delight and very much appreciated. Mollie, our dog, enjoyed the doggie treats. The Cottage is ideally situated to explore the beautiful area of Pembrokeshire. The owner made us feel very welcome.

We had a wonderful holiday, location great, Malcolm was a wonderful host, met us on arrival very personable and give us some lovely location to visit over our 1 week stay. Cottage done to a very very high standard, we loved the space and the garden is large, fenced off for our 2 dogs to play without a worry of them getting out. I’d highly recommend booking here and location is perfect to visit around the wider area, we will be booking again without doubt. For Malcolm id suggestion a couple of things we missed 😃 1. Put some USB sockets next to bed and kitchen for charging devices 2. Air fryer 3. Bigger bed 😉 plus until then option of mattress topper as I found it a little too hard for me but Tina loved it. But we loved our week and you made us very welcome Thank you

Clam cottage is outstanding. Well equipped with all you need. Home from home! Beautiful gardens and very safe for dogs. The owners always welcome you and ensure you have a great stay. Beautiful location with local restaurants and bars near by. Lots of wonderful walks. Very dog friendly location. Clam Cottage is very highly recommended.
