  We have enjoyed a marvellous holiday with both our boys, their wives, our grandchildren and a dog in Stoney Cottage.

  The accommodation totally met our needs and we were very comfortable in this clean, well kept environment. The beds were very comfortable with lovely fresh linen. The bathrooms, especially the shower room, were large and the shower was powerful. The three comfortable sofas in the large lounge/diner meant that we could all easily relax together in front of a very nice fire when required. The heating was good throughout. The dog and our grandchildren were able to play safely on the patio. The kitchen was more than well supplied with all the utensils, cutlery, pots and pans dishes/mugs that we needed to self cater for our large party. It was great that so many household items were supplied at the sinks. We appreciated the welcome pack, especially the welsh cakes! Tim was always on hand if we had any questions or needs. His advice about where to visit in the local area was very helpful, along with the very well prepared handbook. The cottage is very well placed for visits to so many lovely beaches and towns within a fifteen to twenty minute drive. There was a park for the children that was a short walk away and plenty of walks for the dog. There was plenty of parking behind the gates for our three cars and those of the visitors to the other cottages. We have thoroughly enjoyed our holiday in Stoney Cottage and would definitely book again in the future. Thank you!

  Host was very welcoming, it is rare these days to get an in person greeting to hand over the key! The lemon cake was a welcome treat and delicious. Thank you. Some poetic license taken in the listing, the 'sun room' is a small lean to connecting the back door to the downstairs toilet! Decor is very dated, some evidence of fresh painting but other areas could benefit from a refresh. If you are looking for a boutique experience this is not for you! But the beds and pillows were very comfortable, lots of towels provided, nice hot shower and all the expected facilities e.g. dishwasher etc. Could benefit from a few upgrades e.g. more plugs, bigger fridge, new cooker (grill not the best), a smart TV, but all still usable. Restrictions to parking in front of house during the week but there is nearby off road parking affiliated to the house. Is on the main street/one way system but we didn't notice the noise/traffic when in doors. Some smashing shops in Narberth, house is a very short walk to the shops, highly recommend you try the pastries from the Rock 'n Dough bakery, and pies from Andrew Rees & Sons butchers. A lovely cafe 'Stopio' just a short walk away does some super breakfasts and cake.

  We absolutely loved our 2 week holiday spent at The old Farm Shop in May.

  The property has been converted to a really high standard by the owners and is a credit to them. We found it to be very clean & well kept, with everything you need for your holiday. It has wonderful countryside views over the field to the rear. We booked the property as we were looking for somewhere quiet and away from the hustle and bustle and it looked like it would be peaceful (when I looked on Google earth before booking) …which it was! We loved its location and particularly relaxing there after a long day exploring the area. Luckily the weather was great, so we ate outside on the picnic table most evenings, it was lovely to have the hot tub too! The owners are close by and very helpful, lovely people…they gave us lots of great recommendations for the area, as we weren’t that familiar with Pembrokeshire ….but what an area! there are loads of dog friendly beaches & coastal walks so it was perfect for us.   Had a short stay in Pembrokeshire which was unfortunately, cut short due to a family bereavement.

  However, the short time we stayed in the cottage, it was perfect. Geraint and Sian were perfect hosts and very friendly and welcoming. Enjoyed the lovely gifts they left us, ie wine, flowers and home grown tomatoes, what else could a girl wish for. The cottage was exactly as described and we could not fault anything at all. Wish we could have stayed the full week, but we will definitely be back and cannot wait to stay again. Im sure my dad will be looking down on me and encouraging us to explore the beautiful area of Pembrokeshire and Wales. We will be back in the not too distant future, Dorothy and Dennis

  Cottage was spacious internally and externally with a secure self contained garden with parking for 3 cars and in a good location.

  The property was well decorated and fitted out, with ample storage. As previous reviews mentioned, a folder of local info with recommendations on suppliers and services, ie; facilities at an adjacent caravan park were available to cottage users - restaurant and swimming pool, would be useful The property would benefit from a bbq on the patio deck and a few more kitchen utensils- wooden spoons, small oven pans, new scissors, potato peeler. Opaque glass on ensuite bathroom door and a few minor maintenance items. A good friendly and responsive owner . Overall a great place to stay for an extended family group.
