Alice's Cottage in Saundersfoot is generally praised for its cleanliness, comfortable furnishings, and beautiful garden with sea views. Guests appreciate the well-equipped kitchen, cosy atmosphere, and thoughtful touches like milk and cake on arrival. Some suggest adding gates for pet safety, and there are mixed reviews on bed comfort and the need for minor maintenance.
The cottage receives high marks for cleanliness, with multiple reviews mentioning it being 'so clean' and 'beautifully presented' upon arrival.
The location is well-regarded, with guests enjoying the quiet setting, lovely views, and proximity to Saundersfoot, Tenby, and local attractions. However, some noted the need for a car due to the hilly terrain.
Comfort is generally praised, especially the 'comfiest bed ever' by one guest, but there are several comments about the double bed and pillows needing replacement, which affects the score.
Facilities are mostly appreciated, but some guests noted the absence of a pizza cutter, kitchen scales, and a dishwasher. The presence of puzzles, a TV with a BT box, and a computer are positive aspects.
Thoughtfulness is evident with mentions of welcome gifts like milk, cake, dog bowls, and bones. However, as these gifts are not guaranteed for every stay, they are a delightful bonus rather than an expectation.

There was no gate by the steps being a dog friendly cottage there should be.The bed is a 4ft 6inches not 5ft as stated and the quilt was like a brick, so heavy. There are no kitchen scales or pizza cutter. But the bed is the main problem, had to use the lighter quilts on the single beds plus I slept on one of them and there was a stain on the bottom sheet.Apart from that the place is quite nice.
