The beach enjoys a huge stretch of golden sand and connects to the town's famous harbour. Take a boat trip out from the harbour to the tranquillity of Caldey Island during the main season and keep your eye out for local wildlife. The town centre boasts an excellent selection of bars, restaurants, cafes and shops, so there's plenty to keep you busy. For days out, head to Manor Wildlife Park (3 miles) or Oakwood Theme Park (11 miles).
