Manorbier is a charming seaside village on the south coast of Pembrokeshire, Wales, known for its beautiful sandy beach, impressive Norman castle, and scenic coastal walks. The bay’s south-westerly orientation makes it popular for swimming, surfing, and exploring rock pools, though currents can be strong, so caution is advised. Overlooking the beach is the well-preserved 12th-century Manorbier Castle, open to visitors seasonally, and nearby the historic village features a cosy pub, café, and local church. The wider area forms part of the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park, where dramatic coastal paths, ancient burial sites like King’s Quoit, and nature trails offer plenty of outdoor adventure.

Beautiful lodge and a wonderful welcome. The owners are so helpful and they allow you to use a small fully secure enclosed field onsite for your dogs. Everything works properly and it has everything you need. Note the freezer is only a small compartment so taking fresh food not frozen is best. The photos do not do it justice. The sofa is very soft and squishy which some like and some don't but that really is preference. The bed is very comfy so a great sleep but the blinds are not blackout so take your blackout mask if you need one as its very bright from 4am in summer. The garden for the lodge is fully secure so you can let doggies out safely. I cant recommend this place highly enough. the parking is a few yards from the door and yet no one can park in front of your lodge or block your windows. Very peaceful and a lovely garden centre right next door with a cafe. Chip shop and village shops a short drive. The beach is about a mile or so drive and dog friendly all year (I couldn't walk it but there is a good car park).

What a lovely lodge to stay in. It was a home away from home and exceeded our expectations. Lovely location and the feel of the place is very tranquil. The enclosed garden was perfect for our little puppy. The tea/coffee, dog treats and bottle of Prosecco on arrival was a really lovely touch. The owners Barry and John were lovely and gave us great tips on walks and beaches to visit. It was a wonderful trip and we would recommend this beautiful lodge to all. We will definitely book another trip 😊

Skomer lodge was clean and comfortable and I would highly recommend! The location was excellent for visiting the local beaches and towns. All communication with the owners was positive and helpful. The garden is secure and was ideal for the dog. We had a fabulous visit and will definitely be booking again!
