Private parking for 2 cars. No smoking.. If you are looking for a romantic break away or a family holiday then Daisy is perfect for this, a beautiful lodge with a private hot tub and enclosed garden. Daisy is in St Harmon, a short drive from the market town of Rhayader, ideal for those looking to explore this fabulous area. Gilfach Nature Reserve is within short walking distance from the property and offers moorland, woodland, rivers and waterfalls.
There is plenty to do in this area and a visit to the Elan Valley is a must, as the scenery is just simply stunning, with forested areas, waterfalls and Victorian dams, great for walkers, cyclists and bikers. The Red Kite feeding and rehabilitation centre is not far from the property, and the sheep dogs put on a great show moving the cattle and sheep from the fields before feeding starts. The market town of Rhayader has plenty of restaurants and coffee shops, local amenities and stores.
For those wanting to travel further afield, then the market town of Builth Wells is 16 miles away and home to the Royal Welsh Showground, which hosts multiple events throughout the year. The spa town of Llandrindod Wells is 14 miles from the property and hosts a great golf course and lots of open country parks. The Brecon Beacons National Park is 44 miles for those more adventurous, where a day climbing Pen Y Fan is a must with its panoramic views.

Wow what a wonderful find, I am so pleased I spotted this on cottages.com !! I purchased as a wedding gift for my daughter and son in law, they absolutely loved their stay and wished I’d booked it for longer 😂 They sent me gorgeous photos, I am definitely booking for myself next year !! Thank you so much to the owner for such wonderful accommodation and all the little touches like the cleaning materials required. I would wholeheartedly recommend !!

Excellent views, quiet location, clean, hot tub……little to complain about. ONLY dropped a star (although I’d only drop half if I could), is because of the gates between the properties. They low iron gates which if you have reactive dogs is far from ideal. Not necessarily our dog, but others too. They can get nose to nose with the neighbours. If these gates were either solid wood or covered somehow then it’d be great. It’s hard to relax in the hot tub when you know there’s a reactive dog next door. Always having to keep an eye they don’t go near the gate. The gate was covered with some carpet thrown over it when requested but there’s still gaps around the edge. That’s honestly my only complaint. It was our second time here and unfortunately had a slight issue with a neighbours dog. 🐕

Pod was wonderful, very clean and very well equipped. Hot tub was a bonus when coming home after a lot of walking .
