Relax in the hot tub after a busy day exploring and watch the shooting stars over the dark skies. Sunflower is in St Harmon, a short drive from the market town of Rhayader, ideal for those looking to explore this fabulous area. Gilfach Nature Reserve is within short walking distance from the property and offers moorland, woodland, rivers and waterfalls.
There is plenty to do in this area and a visit to the Elan Valley is a must, as the scenery is just simply stunning, with forested areas, waterfalls and Victorian dams, great for walkers, cyclists and bikers. The Red Kite feeding and rehabilitation centre is not far from the property, and the sheep dogs put on a great show moving the cattle and sheep from the fields before feeding starts. The market town of Rhayader has plenty of restaurants and coffee shops, local amenities and stores.
For those wanting to travel further afield, then the market town of Builth Wells is 16 miles away and home to the Royal Welsh Showground, which hosts multiple events throughout the year. The spa town of Llandrindod Wells is 14 miles from the property and hosts a great golf course and lots of open country parks. The Brecon Beacons National Park is 44 miles for those more adventurous, where a day climbing Pen Y Fan is a must with its panoramic views.

Booked this little getaway for my husbands 50th! Beautiful little place to stay, small but very well equipped with the bonus of a hot tub....would definitely book again 5 🌟 highly recommend.

This was a little gem of a place. So peaceful and quiet , a hot tub, beautiful surroundings . Would love to re visit again soon , highly recommended . Everything you need catered for, and immaculate throughout . An excellent stay .

My best friend and I stayed at the Sunflower hut for two nights and it was absolutely beautiful! The views were amazing, the hot tub was masive and the shepherds hut was more spacious than the pictures made it seem. Would definitely recommend for a lovely, peaceful getaway.
