One of the nicest properties we’ve been to, a lovely apartment in a great location. Located on the high street it’s a minutes walk away from some lovely independent shops, pubs and restaurants. A 15 minute walk to Bala lake which was great for our dog and anyone who loves swimming, paddle boarding etc. The owners have gone to great lengths to ensure the apartment is comfortable with plenty of kitchen equipment, lots of little extras like tea, coffee, butter, jam and milk, and it’s beautifully decorated. Very much home from home! It was also lovely and cool inside on very hot days! The little courtyard is partially covered and perfect for the dog and also to sit out in and enjoy some sunshine in the afternoons. Some reviews have mentioned about noise from the upstairs property. In our experience it was nothing more than people walking around, the occasional noise of a washing machine. There was certainly no excessive noise and it had no affect on our stay at all. We were out most of the time anyway enjoying visits to Llangollen, and Betws-y-coed, as well as a steam train ride at Porthmadog and a great day at the beach at Black Rock Sands. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this lovely property and if we holiday this way again we will 100% book again.

Cosy accommodationLlety Cariad is a lovely and thoughtfully appointed ground floor flat on the high street. The high street is a busy thoroughfare but don't let that put you off as traffic hardly disturbed us and wasn't particularly noticeable when in the flat. The lounge was comfy with smart TV and a selection of board/card games and books. The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare and cook meals with a spacious fridge freezer. The owners had left milk and bread and salt & pepper and a jar of condiment sachets and small jars of tea coffee sugar which was very useful. From the kitchen was a lovely enclosed covered patio space with seating and a fire pit with kindling and logs supplied. The weather wasn't particularly kind to us so unfortunately we didn't sit outside for very long. This space was also very safe for our dog. The owners supplied dog bowls, treats and bags.Bedroom was off the lounge which was a lovely cosy space. The bed was very comfortable and there was plenty of hanging and shelf space. It was also very quite at night. The bathroom was off the hallway and was very clean and modern with all the toiletries you would need and a nice selection of fluffy towels. There was washing powder and conditioner for the washing machine. We didn't eat out so can't comment on pubs and restaurants but there was plenty of choice along the high street. We would recommend the steak we bought from Roberts the butchers.Car parking along the high street is limited to one hour between 9am and 6pm. We did manage to park outside overnight a couple of times and we parked in the public carpark which was £15.40 for 24 hours. We really enjoyed our stay, it was lovely accommodation with some very thoughtful touches.

If you are looking for a clean, tidy, modern place in an excellent location with a thoughtful and responsive owner then stop reading now. You've found it. This property has been developed to fit in with the local surroundings but is modern and airy inside. The owner presents it spotlesly clean and I mean spotlesly. I run a property inventory company and I see properties on a daily basis. This is right up there. The accommodation was perfect for us as a couple and would also suit a small family but with younger children. The kitchen is well equipped, the bathroom superb, bedroom a good although not masive size. But what do you need on holiday? The property has everything you need, the WiFi is excellent and best of all it's a 2 minute stagger back from the pub. Bala is a great village and a superb base for exploring N Wales. Karl gave us some excellent tips re places to eat and was always available to help. We cannot recommend this place highly enough
