Cae Cwta was a lovely place to stay and I would recommend to anybody looking for dog friendly accommodation in Tal-y-bont.Booking: Booking was easy and communications great prior to arrival.Owners: The owners were most welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. Despite arriving in the middle of a storm, Vanessa welcomed us in person and showed us around the apartment. Phil was knowledgeable about the local area and where we could walk the dog.Facilities: The accommodation was compact and had everything that we needed for a couple and a dog. The apartment was well heated, modern and clean with great WiFi, huge TV and a well equipped kitchen. Outside: The rear garden was secure for the dog and parking was on site.Location: The location was excellent. Head left out of the door and you are a few minutes walk from a pub which them leads into a river walk which further extends into the woods and hills. Head right out of the door and you can be at the Tal-y-bont beach in 10 minutes. The railway station is only 2 or 3 minutes walk from the house and can be seen from the front door. Trains to Barmouth run every 2 hours.We will book again if planning to visit the area.

A lovely new apartment which was well equipped .Outside space however, not so good but secure for the dog.Be aware that the apartment is beneath the family home, with foot fall noise from above.Barmouth is nearby, excellent walks and amenities there. The local train station is a bonus.The owners were very welcoming, and pleasant.
