The property has been furnished to a high standard with a lovely, light décor and large windows giving the rooms an abundance of natural light. Be welcomed into an open-plan living space where you can gather your loved ones for a family film night on the Smart TV with Sky, as your four-legged friend snuggles up in front of the crackling woodburning stove.
Whip up delicious meals in the well-equipped kitchen, with handy dishwasher and washing machine, ready to enjoy over a bottle of wine at the dining table for four. If the weather is nice, why not savour dinner alfresco out in the rear garden where your pooch can stretch their legs? The Rhinog, Moelwyn, and Arenig mountains surround this historic Welsh village in the heart of Snowdonia National Park. Fishermen flock to the nearby Trawsfynydd Lake, which has a recently constructed walking and cycling path that circles the entire lake. Despite its modest size, the community has a good selection of shops. Water sports, hiking, fishing, golf, and mountain biking are all popular pastimes in this area. Dolgellau and Porthmadog have a lot to offer, as do Black Rock Sands, Harlech, and Barmouth's beaches. Take in castles, small gauge railways, slate and copper mines, and the famed Italianate village of Portmeirion.

The home included extra blankets, pillows, a paper map & compass, a guest book, a welcome book with local information, books and DVDs, a few towels and a few kitchen supplies. Nevertheless, some basic amenities when renting a property were expected. The home was booked for 4 people for 3 nights and only 1 roll of toilet paper was provided (it was a half roll actually). The home did not have any clothes for cleaning the kitchen. In the kitchen, you could find 3kg of sugar, tea bags, a few drops of olive oil and some pepper, but no salt was found (of course we were not expecting a full shopping but some salt). The washing-up liquid was so cheap that you needed to use lots to get the dishes clean. No cleaning sponge was provided either (we found 1 hidden in the covert). Overall, the structure, cosiness and cleanness of the home were as expected, but some basic supplies must be included in the rental as well (and even more shocking about the toilet paper). The access instructions were clear & concise, so we did not have any issues.

At least tohave toilet roll in the bathroom on arrival. Had to go to local store stright away. on the dinning table was vase left with dead flowers and smelly water inside and we are talking weeks not days old. For 4 persons only 3 towels provided. I wasnt sure if they were washed after previous clients so put them in washing machine. When i tried to use towel on my skin i got covered in fluff from fabric. Bedding wasnt ironed and bunk beds duvets were just rolled up. looked like someone slept there before us. I just asumed if there was dirty pillowcase droped on the floor someone changed it in rush.. well i hope. i dont know what it meant welcoming basket...only saw tea candles there. i just never expected to buy toilet paper and towels when you renting all cottage. Cottage would be nice place to stay if owners would put some effort in basic hygiene standarts.
