We really enjoyed our short stay. Fantastic area with lots to explore. Very dog-friendly too.

The location, was great to access local towns for sightseeing. The lodge oven didn't work, no instructions for the air fryer, so cooking meals were limited. We only managed to get the shower working properly once. The doors didn't shut properly. The bed is very low. No Freeview TV, we could only log the TV onto to BBC iPlayer, no other stations successfully. Lots of Robins in the area, came to say hello, and the jets fly past would have been amazing if the hedge wasn't so high.

Overall we were very pleased with our stay. There was a problem with the shower but Tim the owner came out the following day to see what could be done. It was eventually fixed the day after that. A really cosy lodge in a lovely setting.
