Bryn Re is a well-loved cottage praised for its cleanliness, comfort, and stunning location. Guests appreciate the peacefulness, the surrounding natural beauty, and the well-equipped facilities. The thoughtful touches by the owners, including welcome treats, add to the charm of this remote Welsh retreat.
Reviewers consistently mention the cottage's cleanliness, describing it as 'scrupulously clean' and 'very clean'. The attention to detail in maintaining hygiene, especially in light of Covid-19, has been appreciated by guests.
The cottage's location is highly praised for its tranquillity, stunning views, and proximity to local attractions. Its remote setting offers a peaceful escape with easy access to Snowdonia's beauty. However, some guests noted the difficulty in finding the entrance and the remoteness may not suit everyone.
Guests find the cottage comfortable, with special mentions of cosy furnishings, a wood burner, and comfortable beds. The presence of toys and games for children also contributes to a comfortable family stay.
The cottage is celebrated for being well-equipped, particularly the kitchen. However, some guests noted areas for improvement such as water pressure in the shower and the need for clearer signage for local footpaths. The provision of wood for the burner and covered areas for outdoor seating are appreciated.
Many reviews express gratitude for the thoughtful gestures by the owners, such as cakes, tea, and milk on arrival. While these gifts are warmly received, it's important to note that such personal touches, though common, are not guaranteed with every stay.

Remote, and I safe feeling! Itâs the reason to escape to wales. Lovely hosts, always helpful and cheerful. Youâll see them busy at work! Itâs around 15 minutes away from Porthmadog, big Tesco for essentials, to save bringing it all in the car, also great if your into planes as the jets use this route to fly low. If you need a break away, this will be perfect.
