This is a perfect Trawsfynydd cottage for a family holiday or romantic break, with a woodburner in the sitting room and some wonderful mountain views. There are a pleasant garden ideal for dining alfresco and paths and trails from the cottage to the surrounding Rhinog Mountains. On the doorstep of this cottage near Trawsfynydd is the renowned Coed-y-Brenin Forest with its famous mountain biking trails. Enjoy beautiful hill and mountain scenery, fishing in Traws Lake and the beautiful beaches at Porthmadog, Harlech and Barmouth. A splendid Trawsfynydd cottage, whatever the time of year.
Set in the heart of the Snowdonia National Park the traditional Welsh village of Trawsfynydd is surrounded by the Rhinog, Moelwyn and Arenig mountains. The impressive local lake is renowned for its excellent fishing and is only a short distance from the village itself. With a pub and a small variety of shops, Trawsfynydd provides all essential amenities as well as outstanding outdoor activities including excellent water sports, climbing, walking, fishing, golf and mountain biking. Good place to explore local area and easy to get to places. Traffic noise quite loud at certain times of the day but ok when windows shut. We had beautiful weather so had to have windows open at night but other than that everything was great.

The owners are very friendly and live just next to the property. There is plenty of parking, but it is on a very busy road. We would happily stay again!

Plenty of room inside. Good size kitchen, we cooked nice meals everyday. The A470 wasnât noisy at all for us. There are lots of walks and bike rides paths nearby. The weather was kind to us and we went exploring everyday.
