This detached property retains many of the original features, with oak panelling and the spyhole in the manager’s office door! It makes a great holiday property for six people, and there is a pub just a short distance away, plus a well-stocked village shop, and the lovely Trawsfynydd Lake, which offers fishing, cycling and walking.
Thrill seekers will love the range of activities available in nearby Blaenau Ffestiniog, where the whole family can bounce on trampoline nets deep underground at Bounce Below, or soar majestically over a slate quarry at the amazing Zip World - the largest zip wire zone in the world. You can take a spectacular trip on a steam train on the famous Ffestiniog railway to Porthmadog, with its pretty harbour, and fabulous beach at Black Rock Sands, Morfa Bychan, or immerse yourself in the splendid architecture of the Italianate village of Portmeirion. In the other direction is the Coed y Brenin Forest Park and Dolgellau, offering lots more things to do. Beach 10 miles. Shop 100 yards, pub 1 mile and restaurant 3 miles.

Lovely cottage well presented lovely location very spacious feel like home. 3 spacious bedrooms with attached bathroom with all the facilities love this place great private parking space for 5 cars or even big camper van and SUV. OWNER mr Steve is very nice person given full details Got very good wifi signals as well Where is situated is the best location all the attractions of snowdonia only half/1 hour away Always recommend

Beautiful and historical property in a good area for exploring mid and North Wales. Cottage had everything we needed and we especially appreciated things like the dishwasher and the three bathrooms made getting ready much easier for the 6 of us. The kitchen was as well equipped as my own, so it was easy to prepare meals. The main areas were nice and clean and we enjoyed exploring all the historical features of the cottage. Friendly and helpful owner.
