  This Coach House was a wonderful place to spend the long Easter weekend. It was spacious, clean and equipped to a very high standard - especially the kitchen area. The springtime views from the upstairs bedroom over the garden were glorious. We arrived to a very generous welcome package of local produce and other items, and an information pack about things to do in the area. Eye is a friendly and attractive small town/large village, with some good shops (2 x co-op, butcher, baker, deli etc.) and an excellent cafe (Cafeye) - highly recommend the cooked breakfast! There is an interesting historical walk around the village and also several walks from the front door. We ate at the nearby Auberge (highly recommend) and did the parkrun and Thornham walks, which was great. It was easy to get to Framlington (Ed Sheeran territory), Aldeburgh, Sutton Hoo, RSPB Minsmere and Snape Maltings. We missed out on Orford Ness as booking is needed well in advance - something for next time we visit. A 5 -star, luxury experience, which was just what we needed! Thank you, Alison!

  We were lucky enough to be the first ever guests at The Coach House, we’ve stayed at a fair few cottages and this is without a doubt the best by far. Every effort has been made by the owner to ensure your stay is luxurious. There’s too many things to highlight, but the stand out for us was the beautiful bedroom, a perfect retreat at any time of the day. The entire cottage has been thoughtfully equipped and everything is of exceptional quality. The village itself has all the amenities you’d require for a short or long stay and I really can’t recommend this accommodation highly enough, we can’t wait to return soon.

Every effort has been made by the owner to ensure your stay is luxurious. There’s too many things to highlight but the stand out for us was the beautiful bedroom, a perfect retreat at any time of the day.   Upon arrival at the coach house, we were pleasantly surprised by the welcome package that was awaiting us, given that it was during our Christmas break and especiallyloved the Christmas tree and twinkly lights. The coach house is fully equipped with all the necessary cooking and cleaning equipment to create a comfortable and inviting home-away-from-home experience. It features modern amenities while still preserving its original charm. We had a wonderful time creating memories and discovering parts of Suffolk we have never seen.

  The Coach House has been very tastefully done up and benefits further from still having a relatively new and pristine feel. Alison gave us a friendly welcome and we had everything we could want in a base for exploring spectacular Suffolk for the first time. Eye itself is a quiet town with just enough amenities for convenience (and an excellent church) and is well placed for travelling to a wide variety of interesting days out. We’d definitely recommend it!
