This cosy, traditional, farm character cottage is situated on the owners’ small estate, and 2 miles from the charming Suffolk town of Eye. It retains some original beams and studding, with steepish stairs to quaint dormered bedrooms. It is good value holiday accommodation for couples and small families, with good walks and is about 25 minutes from Woodbridge and the Suffolk Heritage Coast. The Broads and Constable Country are each an easy drive. Shop and pubs 2 miles.

Oak Lawn Cottage is situated in a very peaceful rural location suiting those who wish for tranquility and time in nature. The hostes was very friendly and helpful and the cottage had the basic facilities we needed for our stay. It remained perfectly cool during the heatwave we experienced during our stay but if hot weather conditions are forecast any guests would be advised to be prepared for flies and take necesary measures to minimise their impact. It is a safe and welcoming place for dogs accompanying guests.

Really peaceful setting and very conveniently placed for touring around Suffolk and Norfolk.Wi-Fi would have been useful but the Staff at the Library in Eye were very accommodating for the short time it was needed.Seeing a barn owl hunting in the garden behind the cottage was something special!
