  Hill Top is ideally situated at the end of a lane with plenty of places we could walk our dogs without driving anywhere. The property is extremely well equipped and good quality throughout. In our case staying over Xmas the decorations were excellent in both the house and swimming pool - our granddaughter was so excited when we arrived to see the outside and inside lights, the decorated tree and hear the Xmas music. The swimming pool was also a big hit. Lots of wildlife outside including birds, squirrels, guinea fowl and the odd pheasant. We noted that in the garden there were great facilities for when it is warmer and you can eat outside. Plenty of parking right next to the property. Nicky the owner was lovely, very helpful and made us feel very welcome.

  We highly recommend this stunning, beautiful cottage.

  It’s so spacious and clean and in a great location! On our arrival we had a welcome pack, a nice little touch. There was a recommendation booklet to read which was very useful as we wasn’t familiar with the area. There was plenty to do, 10 mins drive to Marwell zoo, definitely worth a visit. 20 mins to the watercress steam railway. Lovely places to go for a nice walk. Even had 2 local pubs which were a 5 mins walk. Also a good selection of restaurants. And to top all this there was a relaxing hot tub to come back to. Choices of outdoor and indoor games to play. The beds were extremely comfy. And It was a luxury to have a four poster with an en-suite. With an extra separate bathroom & downstairs shower & toilet. We will definitely be coming back!

  Great property : info for those with elderly/disabled family : although not an adapted property, this bungalow has ramps at the entrances & wide doorways. Everything is on one level (no internal steps) and the ensuite has plenty of space (note there is a step into the shower & no grab rails), but we had read the description & took our own adaptive equipment and it worked brilliantly for our 92 year old father. We loved the pool & the dogs were safe with some fantastic walks directly from the property. Great location, well equipped, quiet & relaxing with a very responsive host. Thoroughly recommend.

  We had the most perfect week staying at Little Barn.

  It is the perfect home from home! The property has everything you need and is so cosy and private. Bonus was the dogs could run around in the secure garden! The location is perfect for venturing into the New Forest or to the coast. We visited Brockenhurst, Lyndhurst, Lymington, Milford-on-Sea, Bournemouth, Salisbury, Andover and caught the ferry for a day in the Isle of Wight. Karen and Andrew were very helpful with recommendations and on hand quickly if needed. We would definitely recommend staying at Little Barn and hope to return in the future. Thank you again.

  This property is one of the best we have stayed in having thought of everything you could possibly need. The house is absolutely gorgeous and very clean. The grounds are beautiful! Private, quiet and calming! Our family loved watching the birds the children especially when they saw pheasants and guinea fowls. To top it all off the pool area was a big hit for our family it was a real luxury to have sole use of the pool the children had a blast. The owners were so helpful and we felt we could contact them if we needed anything.
