  Opening the door to The Piglets we got the WOW factor.

  We had taken our granddaughters 23 and 21 on holiday to Suffolk, after taking them on many holidays through the years abroad and UK, they both loved this wonderful find. Close to all places for sightseeing, set in a lovely garden, where we enjoyed relaxing, chatting and two evenings in the hot tub. Our little dog loved it too. The girls enjoyed the bottle of wine which was a nice touch welcoming us on our arrival together with doggy treats for our pooch. The space between the bedrooms, both with en-suite had been well thought out. To be honest we could not have wanted for more that’s why we have rated this a 10. Which is rare as we have been to many places promising everything to be disappointed! Not here if you are looking for lovely accommodation in an excellent location look no further! The only warning is if you sit outside in the garden or hot tub on a warm night be sure to take care of the mosquitoes, one of our granddaughters got bitten and she is allergic to them but here again she received excellent service from the doctors surgery. If you should have any problems, which I doubt, the owners are nearby and are very helpful with very well behaved children, who deliver logs to your door should you need them.   This is good quality holiday accommodation with everything one would want for a home away from home. Plenty of storage for suitcases, shoes etc in the lobby before you even set foot in the living space. The kitchen has everything you could need for cooking meals after a day out. Lovely bedroom, good quality en-suite and living spaces are very comfortable. The owners are Chris and Pauline and you could not wish to find more helpful or friendly hosts. They have a beautiful garden that guests can use, as well as a very friendly terrier called Jack who gives a warm greeting to new arrivals. We had a great week and I can see us returning at some time on the future. Some very good pubs not too far away as well as supermarkets and petrol all just a 5 minute drive away. Great location, comfortable accommodation and helpful friendly hosts.

  Piglets was a lovely place to stay and felt like home from home.

  Extremely well equipped and you couldn’t ask for a nicer place to stay. The welcome gift of wine, biscuits and dog treats was a lovely touch and much appreciated. Kim and Neil were supper friendly and helpful. Kim popped over to introduce herself and let us know how to contact her should we need to. It was really helpful knowing they were Nextdoor, but I must say it was not intrusive in any way. Piglets felt rural, but had great access to all the amenities and attractions. The weather was awful during our stay, but it gave an excuse to light the log burner, sit back relax and enjoy being cosy while watching rain and wind outside. We had a bit of a medical issue while staying at piglets, and it was great to know Kim was close by. Both Kim and Neil were extremely helpful and supportive during our hour of need. Thank you

  We cannot recommend this property highly enough.It was perfect in every respect: our annex was in pristine condition,with every possible comfort,it was extremely stylish and spacious .We particularly appreciated the snug for reading.There are fields all around with footpaths to explore and although the setting is tranquil ,there is easy access to a comprehensive road network to visit all the gorgeous villages that Suffolk has in abundance.We had lovely weather,but it was not quite hot enough to eat outside on our swish covered patio this time,but we were able to admire the wonderful ,huge garden.Finally our hosts Pauline and Chris were charming,friendly and helpful.We very much appreciated the fresh flowers,wine,snacks,milk and bottled water that awaited us on our arrival. A resounding 10/10 all round.Thank you.

  This couldn't have been a more perfect retreat for a relaxing getaway in late winter! The cottage was incredibly cosy, particularly the log burner which had been lit prior to our arrival. The owners were extremely friendly, and took pains to make sure everything was perfect for our stay. The location itself is wonderful too - plenty of bracing winter walks along the coast and countryside, and some superb pubs nearby (can very highly recommend the Fox Inn at Newbourne). Though to be honest, we spent most our time in the snug playing board games, reading, and listening to music. We're hoping to find time in the summer to return, as the veranda and garden look like perfect spaces to while away a lazy afternoon. Couldn't recommend highly enough - this was a real find that we'll certainly be returning to!
