  <strong>The cottage was fantastic, luxurious, comfy, very clean, excellent facilities and had an amazing view.</strong><br /> Recommendations - Barry beach and Pleasure Park for fun and ice creams and crazy golf. Porth Kerry country park for spectacular scenery, with a 12 hole pitch and putt golf course and nice cafe. The Knapp is in a lovely setting with a lake and little cafes for lovely lunches. For evening meals, The Red Lion at Pendoylan, The Blue Anchor, The Cherry Orchard. The visit was perfect, couldn&#39;t have asked for anything else to improve our stay.

  A gem of a find in a peaceful location but not isolated, a big supermarket minutes away. Wonderful views from the lounge. Warm and cosy and able to control the heat.Good quality furnishings and fittings. Very comfortable beds. Excellent en-suite bathrooms. Everywhere spotlessly clean. Well stocked with everything we needed for a very comfortable stay.An easy short journey to visit family in Penarth. Wonderful very helpful hosts. We will definitely return for further visits. Thank you.

  Lovely tranquil spot on edge of Barry but close enough to all you need. Fab balcony that you can keep dry on and still get beautiful views. Frequent easy, value train to Cardiff. Space for 4 and plenty of kitchen equipment to cook or plenty who will deliver orders. Comfortable beds and sofas. All on one level, warm and cosy. Owner was excellent communicator. Great value.

  This property is in a beautiful location, very peaceful and great for a short break. One thing I would say though is that if you are definitely wanting to enjoy the peace and quiet this may not be the location if there are children staying in the adjacent properties as they are very close together and the gardens are joined which isn't clear from the property photo.
