  A beautiful lodge with high standards of comfort and cleanliness, thank you. We loved the welcome treats and toiletries too! We have thoroughly enjoyed our week and the bonus of lovely weather too. We have walked every day in the local area and the wildlife here is amazing. This time of year is wonderful to see so many migrant birds on the marshes and at the coast. The beaches have been so peaceful, just the sound of birds and the sea. The Burnhams walk was interesting too, visiting the different villages en route across beautiful countryside. Thank you. PS: Look through the windows! Hares, muntjac deer and pheasants just outside the window every day! A kestrel perched on the telegraph wire, and blackcaps visited the hawthorns, a delight to hear and see.

  This is a wonderful holiday retreat property. The facilities are magnificent and the views from the property are stunning. Local wildlife provides a moving panorama throughout the day. This is our fifth visit to this property - it is always immaculately clean and well presented when we arrive, and some nice touches - local fruit juice and cookies, together with milk in the refrigerator - are much appreciated. The location means that it is a wonderful starting point for visits to the NW Norfolk Coast, to Sandringham, Houghton Hall, Holkham Hall and many other wonderful treasures in this area. It is also a very comfortable property in which to curl up and relax, should the weather be inclement.

  We have just returned from our second holiday at Oaktree Cottage. We love it here. The house is cosy, bright and comfortable. It's also well thought out for anyone with mobility issues with easy access to all areas. We love the garden, from flower beds to meadow, pond and woodland, it has everything for a peaceful and tranquil stay. We found a warm welcome with owners who care about your welfare but are equally mindful of your privacy. Just a short drive and you'll find Attleborough with cafes restaurants, independent shops and a supermarket. There are also lots of places of interest within an hours drive. We'd highly recommend it.

  This cottage is delightful, very comfortable and a TV that you can actually see, not a small one that we've had many times before. The owners are lovely and very hard working. Everything has been thought through in great detail and there is nothing cheap about the fixtures and fittings. Everything is good quality including towels and bedding. The wifi was great, the whole place is perfect. We have been having self catering holidays for over 40 years and this is probably the best. We would highly recommend this cottage, and the Marstons pub The Thatchers Needle in Diss.

  First entry! Thank you for opening up your beautiful house - it is clear you have worked very hard to make it perfect! We have had a brilliant four nights and wouldn't change anything about it.Clean, well-stocked, comfy beds, quiet and perfectly located - we've all had a great stay. The dog towels/ brush and welcome snacks were all really appreciated, thank you. We'll be sure to recommend you to friends and family, and hope to come back ourselves.
