  2 Morfa View is comfortable, spotlessly clean and tastefully decorated - we particularly appreciated the Welsh wool cushions and throws, woven locally.

  The cottage is very conveniently situated just outside the town walls with all the sights, pubs and shops of Conwy within a few minutes walk. We had no difficulty finding the property or parking nearby. The location does mean that there’s occasional noise from the surrounding houses (yapping dogs etc) but the garden gives a feel of seclusion. We would have preferred to know in advance that 1 & 2 Morfa View share the same front path (it came as a bit of a surprise!) but this has little practical impact as the neighbour is friendly and quiet. One other minor point actually had more of an impact on my enjoyment. I had assumed the fridge would have a small freezer compartment for ice cubes, but it didn’t. As the weather was unseasonably warm, we missed being able to have chilled drinks in the evening. We would happily stay again - if there were a different fridge!

  We've spent some wonderful days in Morfa View Cottage.

  It is lovely and cosy and we immediately felt at home. We particularly liked the design of the cottage with all the beautiful furnishings. The house is also well equipped. But the best part is the garden, an oasis of peace. We enjoyed the terrace almost everyday. Having breakfast in the morning or a drink on an evening. Arriving without a car, we were not sure how we could assess sites further afield. It worked out really fine and we were able to get everywhere by public transport. The lady in the tourist office was also really helpful to find the right connections. We'll definitely be back.

  The cottage was very comfortable and to the usual quality we have come to expect from Rural Retreats. It was set in a lovely rural location and had a real hideaway feel about it. Great walks straight from the cottage and lots to do in the area. The only reason I have deducted a star is that the housekeeping wasn't quite as spot on as previous Rural Retreat cottages and we felt its location at the end of a long, single track, steep and winding road with only a few passing places, should have been emphasised more in the information prior to booking. We were glad we had arrived in daylight!!

  '4 Allgauerinnen in Wales?

  Wir goennen uns eine Auszeit, feiern das Leben, lassen uns im Hafen von Conwy die Meeresluft um die Nase wehen und stossen mit gutem Bier auf die Freundschaft an. In unserem Kurzurlaub liesen wir kein empfohlenes Highlight aus - von Victoria's Sponge Cake uber die Kegelrobben, Welsh beer, Sticky toffee pudding und Coast Path Tour bis hin zum traumhaften Anglesey Beach. Dieses hubsche Hauschen hier war der perfekte Ausgangspunkt dafur. Ein herzliches Dankeschon an die lieben Gastgeber! Andrea, Kathrin und Lise

  Lovely property.

  Well equipped kitchen - the fact that there’s a full size fridge freezer , as opposed to a small freezer box , was very much appreciated . Only small downside was that the heavy metal gate across the driveway needed to be closed to have an enclosed garden for the dog. We had two cars and you couldn’t close the gate if one party was out in their car - the road was too busy to stop and open the gate . Minor inconvenience given the excellent location and great accommodation . Would hope to be back next year .
