  We stayed for 10 days over February half term and we are returning customers to Norfolk Hideaways. Upon arrival the property was warm and ready for us, the key safe idea is brilliant. Local area is very nice, Walsingham farm shop only a 2 minute walk away, and a dog walk across the common only minutes away. Black Lion in the village is superb, the evening meal and the Sunday lunch are awesome and very good value. The Chapter House is well equipped with a lovely open plan living area, bathrooms and bedrooms are all finished to high standard bedding and towels are also top end quality . Kitchen has everything you need for all daily meals, however the oven is rather small, cooking a large roast for 8 would be a challenge, but why would you want to be cooking on holiday! Garden is secure for small children and dogs and would be a sun trap in the summer months and there is a set of patio furniture for use, sadly due to Storm Dudley and Eunice we didn’t bother with alfresco dining. The Crab House in Wells is another great place to eat, you will need to book well ahead of your stay! Holkham Hall and it’s excellent facilities are only a short drive away and worthy of more than one visit! All in all a great area to base any holiday. The owners of The Chapter House have thought of everything to make their property one of the best.

  The property is clean and comfortable with most stunning views.

  A great find and we all had a lovely time there despite the weather! (This can be published against the property) This following info is for the owner ….. We were three couples who all loved the house and thought it was comfortable and new with good accessories and equipment. Stunning views The outside needs to be slightly more finished around the house but all in all fabulous. Couple of things to point out if you want feedback. The towel rail in the bedroom at the back does not work The gutters are overflowing so they need attention before they damage the property. We had so much rain that we watched this a lot! Would be nice if there were mirrors in the two single bedded rooms If there had been eight of us the seating in the lounge is a little tight but luckily we were only six! I know there are two other chairs in the kitchen but they aren’t that comfy. We would have enjoyed the hot tub more despite the weather had it been a few degrees hotter but lovely surprise to have it there. Not sure it was mentioned in the details. Please don’t take this as criticism as we were more than happy and satisfied but just thought these few things would be a nice addition. Scotland is amazing and we had a great time. Thank you

  What a beautiful, light and airy home from home. Great kitchen/diner and living room. Lovely garden for both us and the dog. We come to Norfolk twice a year and Ringstead is one of our favourite villages. We are out at The White Horse, Brancaster which was nice. We also drove to Great Massingham and had a lovely walk in the woods and lunch at The Dabbling Duck (you need to book) Lovely pub in a lovely pretty village. We also like the Duck at Stanhow but that wasn't open this week sadly. We love all the deli's and farm shops for local fresh produce and treats! The shop in Ringstead is also a little treasure trove as well as a great local shop. Beaches at Holme, Brancaster and Holkham are our favourites. We REALLY feel relaxed and recharged and able to get back to our busy jobs and life again now. We are just about to book again for next year, so thank you it's been a great week!
