  Despite the issue with the washing machine (owner offered to pay for Laundrette) We all had a great time, thanks for providing alternative parking for the works that took place in the car park. As for the apartment is very clean, well equipped, I always bring key things (sharp Global knife, chopping board ice tray & peeler) although this property doesn’t have a view but just take a step outside patio at sunset that’s a enough for me to come back. For me the added side access made a huge difference for me, as steps becoming challenging due to injury last year. We drove to the beachfront £9 per day. My partner & in-laws went for an evening stroll down to the beach when I was using the swimming pool. The pool cover has to be removed manually to use the pool (key to pool door is provided). Top tip read flat instructions as all information is there that you need to know including pool key & WiFi info. If you want a quiet place to stay near a good clean beach & swimming pool this a must place location in North Devon. Thanks for the Rose wine.

  Wow!! What can we say

  ? My wife and I really needed a quiet break for a couple of days after a very bumpy 3 months. Deer View provided the perfect place for us to spend some `us` time and chill out. Susan was the perfect host to us and on arrival showed us round. She was meticulous in her planning and management of her holiday let, right down to a big binder full of lots of places to go and things to do, her gift of her simply awesome fruit cake, to her cleaning regime, with the place truly spotless. All of the furnishings and utensils are brand new and are of quality, and not cheap rubbish as some do, showing respect for her guests. This part of England we are not too familiar with, is just beautiful and so quiet and peaceful, so ticked all of the boxes Our 3 nights and 2 days seemed to pass too quickly, but we would love to return..   Flat extremely clean and perfect for two but has some slight quirks which need sorting out.

  The blinds in the bedroom and the lounge don’t fit the windows. They end about 4 inches from the bottom. In the bedroom the curtains are so flimsy that they too don’t do their work. This means that you can see into the bedroom and right onto the bed from the street outside even with the curtains closed. It’s the same in the lounge but that’s not as worrying. There is no room on the other side of the bed for a bedside table and the shelf provided was hanging off the wall. We did inform the owner/landlord/caretaker who took it away, leaving us with no shelf. The shower is quite old and could do with replacing and the shower head and holder don’t match so it’s tricky to adjust the position of the shower head. We had lovely welcome gifts which we really appreciated but I’d prefer money to be spent on the things mentioned above.

  We have just arrived back after a weeks stay in “Little Lugg” and WOW what can I say it was perfect.

  If you want a location that’s quiet and peaceful with relaxing in mind then this is the place to be. The place is beautiful and exceptionally clean and the little touches made it more special, thank you! We met one of the owners who was lovely and welcomed us and made us feel at home nothing was a problem to ask. We got lost on the way there and Step was quick to help us get back after arriving in town. Hereford town was a lovely place with lovely shops and nice restaurants to eat at. We also costed Ross-on-Wye again absolutely beautiful and a place I’d definitely recommend visiting. Thank you for a lovely stay, we’re back home safe to say things on the relaxing side didn’t last long! We will certainly be back for sure! Laura and Matt Xx

  I had an amazing stay at Little Lugg.

  I cannot recommend highly enough. It was perfect! The property was incredible. It had everything you’d need and was tastefully decorated throughout. The cupcakes and fresh milk were much appreciated welcome treats. I visited Symonds Yat Rock and saw peregrine falcons. I also made trips to Ross-on-Wye, Puzzlewood, Soudley Ponds, Hereford, Ledbury and Worcester. There were lots of nice places to eat within a short drive. Ponte Vecchio, a little family run Italian in Hereford was so good! I also visited the Kilpeck Inn in Kilpeck and The Baiting House in Upper Sapey. After a day out exploring, to return to the large hot tub, the private patio area, and comfy bed were just what was needed. I wish I could have stayed longer!
