  Location, just off the main street into town was brilliant, and it was not too far from the town centre and sea front. Plenty of shops, bars and cafes to chose from nearby. lovely conversion but there could have been a few little simple added touches just to make a stay easier, eg shelf in bathroom for toiletries instead of either on the floor under the sink or balanced on the edge of the bath. A window capable of being opened in the downstair bedroom, it was so dark and claustrophobic in there, and the lack of fresh air made it very uncomfortable to sleep for us. Considering the windows cannot be opened, which I understand with them being church windows, I would have thought that in the planning stages of the conversion, air conditioning would have been factored into the build. A shower over the bath in the downstair ensuite or preferably a small shower cubicle, and regular sized bath rather than that huge corner bath would be a bonus. The Bed in the downstair room was so high my wife who is not tall struggled to get on it, I myself at 6ft+ could sit on the edge of the bed and my feet didn't touch the floor, it was way too high and far higher than any we have ever slept on, be it at guest house/hotels or other Airbnb's. All in all a nice place for a few days away but sadly we would not return to the Nave.

  We appreciated having a working washing machine and reliable heating throughout our stay, which was helpful. Two of the four bedrooms were comfortable enough for the duration, though the other two could use some updating to be more inviting. Overall, the basics were met, but the property would benefit from some additional attention. Our experience at this Airbnb was unfortunately disappointing. The property had stains on the carpets, sofa, and side tables, with dust buildup throughout the house and on light fixtures. Plumbing issues led to a flooded kitchen floor for two days, and despite messaging the host, it took another message the following day to finally have a plumber sent. Additionally, security was insufficient, as the main door lacked a secure lock. The water pressure made it impossible for two people to shower simultaneously on separate floors. The kitchen blinds could use either a deep clean or replacement. Don’t even get me started on the bedding. Despite paying for an early check-in, we arrived to find people there who were unaware of our reservation. Pictures on Booking.com do not reflect the current state of the property. Overall, a stay that did not meet expectations nonetheless this property has great potential should renovation be put into consideration.

  Really enjoyed our stay here although the property felt like it lacked a bit of love & a cleaner who paid attention to dust & cobwebs in less obvious places. Beds in single room not put together as requested(error from Air BnB communication I think). Kitchen bin had no lid, not sure why this would be deemed acceptable in an open plan kitchen diner?? New bin delivered after seeing owner on day 3. More information about local walks, restaurants etc could be included in the accommodation and old stuff from 2015 chucked out! Water hot & plentiful, but temperature gauge on showers extremely sensitive so you could scald yourself quite easily with only the slightest of adjustments or accidental nudges. Biggest moan was the £10 charge from Host & Stay to pay my deposit against breakages etc - completely excessive & could either pay it or cancel holiday. Not impressed with that!! Despite the not so positive comments, we did have a lovely stay and loved the peace & tranquillity.

  We arrived and had difficulty locating the lockbox, which wasn’t a great start. Once inside, things didn’t improve. The décor was very poor, wallpaper was literally held up with Sellotape, the place was extremely dusty, and there was a strong smell of mould and damp throughout. The upstairs bathroom curtain was in a vile state, and the mattresses had multiple unpleasant stains on them, making it hard to feel comfortable. One of the things we were really looking forward to was sitting outside in the sunshine, but that was completely out of the question. The outdoor area was disgusting, the table was filthy, the chairs were dirty and broken, and the floor was covered in thick green moss. It felt completely neglected and unsafe to even use. To make matters worse, we were kept awake until well after 3am by loud, thumping music coming from next door, which really ruined any chance of getting a good night's sl

  No real positives to like about the property. On arrival the property was cold the bedding felt damp and cold. There was no instructions on how to operate the hot water and heating. The television controls had no batteries fitted in them so operating the tv was very difficult. The showers had no proper control and quite dangerous to use as there was no real control over hot or cold. There was a large bath but no handrail which made it difficult getting in and out of the bath. The cleanness of the property was not up to a standard expected (photo attached). The kitchen was ill equipped with no oven gloves or a hand towel and only one tea towel provided. There was no instructions for waste disposal or any options for recycling. The issue with shower was reported to one of the staff but nothing was done to rectify the problem.
