  The accommodation was very clean and Louise (the manager) was very helpful. However the cottage was marketed as having 'stunning sea views' but the only window which looked out to sea was the kitchen window to the side of the sink. None of the other windows faced in that direction. Indeed, all the windows on the seaward facing side of the cottage had been bricked up. This should have been made clear. It was not possible to sit inside the cottage and admire the sea. The shape and size of the kitchen was also rather awkward with the dishwasher impeding access from one side to the other whenever it was open. There were plenty of teapots - at least 3 - but not a single tea cosy. Whilst we managed with the hanging space available in the one bedroom which had any hanging space, we feel that this aspect did not meet our expectations of a luxury holiday cottage.

  Excellent cottage, nothing has been spared by the owners, from the welcome pack to the " doggy basket". Cleanliness is of the highest standard, appliances are all top of the range, beds and bedding are very comfortable. There is a fantastic range of outdoor and indoor games to suit the whole family and a massive paddock to tire out the most energetic of pets and children. The hot tub was in almost constant use as was the barbecue and outdoor pizza oven. If you are looking for a spacious cottage with loads of seating inside and out and a very welcoming feel to it then the Coach House is for you. Kevin, the owner, was available to deal with any queries without being intrusive in any way. I would highly recommend the property to anyone, we were a party of 8 adults and 4 children and none of us had any complaints. A fantastic holiday enjoyed by all.

  This is a gorgeous cottage. The owners have gone to great lengths to make it a very welcome retreat, with lots of lovely touches throughout, including the welcome pack. The common areas and sofas are fabulous and very conducive to both lazy starts and late night chats. The beds are very comfortable and the bedrooms have lots of space. The property is very clean and all the kitchen appliances are great, including the numerous glasses to allow for celebrations. The hot tub was a great addition (and the spare towels a great extra touch). We spent the weekend at the cottage as a group of 11 ladies celebrating 40 years of friendship and all of us would highly recommend it. the owner, was in touch in advance of our visit and we knew he was on hand should any issues have arisen (not that any did). A wonderful weekend.

  Cottage rated as 5 star and cost of accommodation was high even compared to other 5 star I have stayed in. However quality of presentation of Accommodation disappointed. Insufficient and slightly grubby cutlery. Glassware needed washing before use. Dirty mugs. Bathroom cleaning needs to be improved. We left on a Sunday which seems to be a “non arrivals day” but housekeeper sent message that she would arrive at 10:15am to prepare for next guests although appeared to be no booking until following Tuesday. Seemed unnecessarily direct. Information folder contained contradictory instructions covering current , Covid and Christmas circumstances. All “attention to detail” matters which would justify star rating and charge.
