  Dolphin Bach proved to be the most perfect accommodation for myself and my dog on our two night stay in North Wales recently, and I definitely hope to return, only for longer next time!

  It was welcoming, cosy, comfortable, peaceful and well equipped…indeed, every thought and attention to detail has gone into ensuring a relaxed and safe stay was had, and it was greatly appreciated! Private parking for my vehicle close by. Secure, enclosed, little garden area attached to the cottage for my dog. Lovely patio area to watch a wide variety of visiting birds to the feeders, or French windows overlooking, when the weather conditions were too adverse for sitting outside, and a delightful view of the estuary and surrounding countryside too…along with the grazing cows one morning, as they made their way through the field across the lane. Binoculars and information packs detailing nearby attractions and walks / beaches / places of interest / nature reserves etc etc were most welcome along with the thoughtful ‘welcome pack’ of goodies…always appreciated after a long journey! Exploring the beaches and coastline was a delight, despite torrential rain, at times, as I knew I could return to Dolphin Bach and dry out, relax and enjoy a peaceful and undisturbed nights sleep each night… Relaxed, ‘slow’, mornings to start each day…breakfast and coffee watching the birds…and cosy evenings, with even the use of a wood burner, if needed! A ‘wet room’ shower was ideal for my needs, also. The hosts were ‘on hand’, should any problems or issues with the accommodation arose (which they didn’t)…but it was nice to know they were there, if needed, and a nicer, kinder, more welcoming couple would be hard to find! A brief, but refreshing and relaxing stay…thoroughly enjoyed by both myself and my dog! Thank you.

  This was our first experience of hiring a cottage and wasn't sure what to expect .

  Excellent communication with the owner throughout and nothing was too much trouble . The cottage was in a beautiful village and location . The interior exceeded all our expectations . Every room was beautifully decorated ,spotlessly clean and fully equipped . We cooked our meals in the week and there was more than enough equipment for all our needs - a real home from home . Every thing you might need had been considered and was there and you were encouraged to help yourself . The welcome also included beautiful fresh flowers and really yummy cakes - both gratefully appreciated . There was also a good selection of books and games which we made good use of . Instantly felt comfortable and and at home . We loved every minute there , thank you Debbie for a wonderful holiday and an outstanding experience .

  We stayed in this beautiful cottage for 7 weeks from January to March and loved every minute of it.

  The cottage is so clean, cosy and well equipped. The bed is huge and very comfortable, the bath is amazing, decor is beautiful and the coffee machine what more can I say delicious. The location is great waking up to see the changes in the waterfalls during the stormy weather from a nice clear flow to a muddy torrent. The owner was lovely we had no problems at all during our stay arrival and departure arrangements were great with a welcoming touch of a yummy lemon drizzle cake (my favourite). As much as we were looking forward to going back to our holiday home it was sad to leave it really did feel like home from home. Thank you for a wonderful stay and we look forward to the next time.

  We loved our week in this beautiful cottage.

  The position and views were outstanding, and on the one day the weather blew hard we stayed in and enjoyed the warmth and security of the barn. Very friendly locals and walked to pub ( 25 MINS) and booked Sun lunch. Visited most of Snowdonia from coast to mountain and a perfect base just off the beaten track. Modern, smart , and would return. Sat nav ok to pub and small local caravan site ( signposted ) then up road and left at no through junction, past indicated left turn and look for gate. with sign on left. We had stunning views and sunsets and on two nights the stars were magnificent and lying in bed could see the plough through roof light close enough to reach out to.

  We really enjoyed our first stay in Wales!

  The location was beautiful, spectacular views & very peaceful. The little welcome gifts were greatly appreciated especially the Yorkshire Tea!! The bed was very comfortable slept with ease, couldn't have picked a better location or place to stay. You have done an amazing job with the little cottage everything is so nicely set out. The addition of a log burner just made it complete & cosy, home from home. Another set of towels would have been nice to have for our 5 night stay but that's just about all we could pick fault on to be honest!! Everything else was on point and we would love to come back at some point in the near future. Thank you!
