  We had such a lovely holiday in this beautiful cottage. The bed and bedding were very comfortable. The layout of the kitchen made perfect sense for the meals we cooked (when we weren't having Aldeburgh fish and chips :) But for us its location was the best selling point. We kept popping backwards and forwards down to the Tesco's and Co-op at the end of the road for food items we might have forgotten. In the same direction is the delightful Kings Field recreation area with its timeless views across the meadows that border the River Alde. The boys and I played football there to round off their action-packed days. We walked the circuit to Thorpeness (ice-creams) along the old railway path and back along the seafront. We walked to the Martello Tower other way, across Aldeburgh Marshes (beautiful). We had a day-trip (for more waterside walking) to Woodbridge (love Woodbridge!) and also hired bikes at Southwold Caravan Site and cycled through beautiful reed beds on boardwalks and woods to Dunwich and back. We loved the cottage location near The Old Station area, a perfect pivot in and out of Aldeburgh seafront. We even got to Snape Maltings Farmers Market on the departure day. Thank you!

  Exceptionally clean and comfortable cottage The fixtures and furnishings were tasteful and high-quality. The log burner was magnificent and the sofas were so comfortable The bedding and towels were luxurious. Beautiful crockery, cutlery and selection of glasses. A fantastic location for beach walks, footpaths to Thorpeness and Snape. We didn’t use our car once. There was an excellent supermarket just over the road, and a pub! The local shops, pubs and restaurants are all delightful and less than five minutes walk. We cannot fault this cottage in any respects. The owners obviously use it as there are so many little touches and extras that you would only have if you sometimes live there yourself. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it, or your company, to other people. We use Isle of Wight Hideaways to rent out our holiday cottage on the island. It was very interesting staying in a Suffolk hideaways cottage and being on the other end of the relationship!

  A charming cottage with modern facilities for a pleasant stay in Aldeburgh. The living space was comfy and well equipped for meals, coffee, tv conversation, reading etc. We slept in the main (front) bedroom and liked the calming purple-gray walls and comfy bed. The floorboards were creaky which added to the charm of the place and the shower and bathroom on the ground floor were modern and clean. There are some stylish design features such as artwork and lamps to make you feel at home. The kitchen was well-equipped and we are happy to use the caffetiere in the mornings - but bring your own favourite teas or coffees! There's lots to recommend locally from walks, visits to perusing the high st., shops, cafes, restaurants and lovely galleries and antiques.

  We had a wonderful stay at Number 22, we just wish we could’ve stayed longer. The house is decorated to a very high standard with everything you could need. Kitchen was well equipped even though we didn’t do any cooking. As it’s nearly Christmas the house had some tasteful decorations up, which made the lounge feel very cosy, especially with the log burner on. Master bedroom was very comfortable and the bath sheets were so soft & fluffy. Great amenities nearby, pub opposite (30 second walk), Tesco & Co-op just round the corner (2 minute walk). Would definitely recommend a visit here. Beach nearby & town centre not far either.
