What our customers say about their holidays
Mrs Markham - Verified booking
This apartment was bigger than my house. Everything you could possibly need was included. Fully fitted kitchen with everything you could think of - home from home. Fantastic location. 5-10 minutes walk down to beach, which was dog friendly. There is a pub "The Crow's Nest" just a few metres away. Bus stop on both sides of road. We used the bus "Breezer 50" open top several times to go to Bournemouth via Studland chain ferry. Fare £3 each way. The views were spectacular. Lovely walk along promenade to shops, with plenty of places to eat and drink. We went of Swanage Steam Train to end of line, where there is a mine museum, very interesting, then got off at Corfe Castle. We also walked costal path to Dunstan Castle, quite steep in places and found an easier route back down. So many places to visit along this coast. Will definately be booking again. Thank you so much to Margaret and Clive for letting us know apartment was ready in morning. Such a wonderful holiday

This "cottage" was more like a house.
To access it, it was necessary for us to drive carefully up and down the steep hill, and, steer carefully in and out of the narrow parking bays which we found to be stressful, yet bays were always available for us. The cottage was modern, spacious, well-furnished, and, clean. Excellent modern full-length wardrobes, very comfortable beds, and, an extremely quiet area at night. However, the bedroom blinds do not block out the light so this aspect was disappointing to our sleep. Wonderful views of the hills from the master bedroom. On occasion, we dined in the patio back garden along with usual noises from a residential estate. The kitchen spotlights flicker erratically, however this is a minor point. We enjoyed visits to Swanage, the Steam Railway was fab as was Corfe Castle, Studland Bay, and Durlston Castle. The Pier Head restaurant in Swanage served us superb seafood dishes.

Compact little cottage on the outskirts of Swanage. More than adequate for a short break although possibly more suited to a couple than for three. Good bed , nice linen and towels and a modern bathroom. We didn’t cook at all but appeared to be everything you would need to do so. There are some lovely local cafes and restaurants so we enjoyed trying them out ! Not the easiest of places to pull up to unload on arrival but after that we managed to park each day just a little way down the road where there are parking spaces off the road. Access to the little garden is up a few steep steps so be mindful if you intend to use the garden or need to let a dog out. We did have a nice time - but be aware it’s too far to walk to the beach really and we had to use our car which adds to the parking fees.

Mrs Hylton De-Vall - Verified booking
The cottage is lovely. So comfortable and with a wonderful outside decking area and garden. We had glorious sunny weather, and the bifold doors whilst relaxing later in the evening were well used. It was helpful to know from the website info about steep stairs in the cottage, so you know before you decide to book. However, the owner has bannisters on both side of the stairs so they were not an issue. Swanage and its beach are lovely and a doable walk from the cottage if you don't want to drive. There are buses too with stops just yards away from the cottage. Plenty of shops and pubs around and, of course, the wonderful Swanage station and the steam trains taking you on a short ride to Corfe and further.

This could be a lovely cottage to stay in but we had a few problems. Surprised to find there was no Microwave which was definitely needed as the pans were so huge ie scrambled egg impossible to make! Fridge / Freezer listed which in fact was a freezer within the fridge, which was totally frozen up so it could not be used. The grass was about a foot high so had to ring for a gardener to sort out, despite the previous people also saying they call for a gardener. Nowhere to put my clothes in the single room so had underwear on the floor and shirts etc in the main room with Mum. Plumber had to be called to fix the shower - never did work out how to fill the bath except from the shower !
