What our customers say about their holidays

No 7 is approximately 30 minutes walk to Ironbridge.
Two museums conveniently situated directly opposite the house to visit and a fantastic but pricy cafe but these local attractions are not open Mondays or Tuesdays. Great location for all of the Blists Hill associated museums and you can also take dogs to Blists Hill and the gorge museum which is a big plus but none of the others we found allowed dogs. The cottage itself is very quaint, decorated and furnished to a good standard. I didnât realise I needed to bring a hairdryer as I assumed it would be a standard item, there are three televisions and three toilets! We visited end of February and the log burner is still not connected sadly and there is a draft from the fireplace but throws are provided, the heating works well and the water pressure is off the scale! Very handy large cloakroom. Hopefully the lighting in the bathroom and a shower issue will be fixed next time we come. Would highly recommend this place, especially if you like walking as there are lots of hill walks from the house locally, my boys spotted deer and a fox at close distance :)

The beds are so comfy and the village so pretty.
We all really enjoyed ourselves and Iâd love to come back. We went to Warwick Castle and it was really fun but a bit scary. We have had a lovely weekend here at Honey suckle Cottage for a family reunion weekend. After traveling from Nottingham, Leicester and Surrey, we were very pleased with the house â how comfortable it is and how everything had been thought of! We stopped at The Peacock in Oxhill for lunch on the Friday which was lovely and the village very picturesque. On Saturday we went to Warwick Castle for the day as we had been given tickets. I wonder if there would be more to do there in season? And the childrenâs playground was closed which was a shame, although the maze was fantastic! On Sunday we went to Leamington Spa and had a roast at The Fox & Vivian which was excellent! Amazing food but you definitely need to book! The playground opposite the house is a lovely surprise and we spent every evening there playing â we can also highly recommend the fresh bread from the village shop!

This is a lovely cottage in a good area for branching out and visiting places such as Chester, Shrewsbury , Birmingham.
It was clean and tidy inside and the beds were really comfortable. There was ample kitchen utensils and appliances in the kitchen. Areas for improvement could include; The cooker hob took a little while to figure out without any instructions, leading us to have to google how to operate it. There was a definite underlying smell of damp in the downstairs WC with noticeable mould spores on the peeling paint. The upstairs bathroom had a damp smell too. It would have also been good to have control over the bathroom radiators as having to leave damp towels hanging around only added to the overall damp smell. There is no outside area to hang towels if it is sunny so they stayed damp throughout the week. It would have been useful to have a lamp in the sitting areas at night instead of the wall lights as these reflected onto the TV screen. We enjoyed our stay here and liked the cottage and its location but wouldnât stay again due to the dampness.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Honeysuckle Cottage!
Good kitchen and living room facilities and the beds were so comfy, loved sleeping here! Nice surrounding village with shops, pub, tearoom and garden. Went to Stratford for the day and looked around Shakespeareâs birth place, house and garden. Recommend Stratford for the day, lots of exciting things to see. If you go on Shakespeare week there are lots of Shakespeare based activities to do. The local village has everything you might need from food to cleaning products. Nice sunny weather! Warwick Castle is nice to visit and not too far away. Overall this cottage is one of the nicest places I have ever stayed in and we all liked the shops and sunny weather! Good space to walk around in and nice atmosphere! Thank you so much for a wonderful stay here!

Beautiful cottage (more like an house!
) immaculately presented. Everything you could need, kitchen had a great range of appliances and utensils, bedrooms spacious and great to have so many bathrooms. The village was lovely, everyone was really friendly and the house was a great base to explore the surrounding area. Highly recommend this property. Caroline the housekeeper was fab, we didnât need her but she allowed us an early check in and said to contact her if we had any issues. Peacock pub in the village is great, pool table and a big beer garden. Chinese was really good, we had takeaway and took it back to the cottage. Fish and chip van comes on a Tuesday night and parks on pub car park.
