  We stayed at Gallus House for the weekend and it was one of the most beautiful, relaxing and comfortable places I have ever stayed. The house is spacious, welcoming, elegantly presented, and immaculately clean. The hot tub had had a change of water the day we arrived which meant it didn’t heat to full temperature until the next day, but that was absolutely fine because then we made the most of it by going in three times the next day, including in the evening with a glass of bubbles and a beautiful starry night sky! The fire place in the main living room was heavenly. The games room was lots of fun. The beds were so comfortable, we slept like logs! And the location is excellent, with a public footpath leading all the way to the beach (30 mins scenic walk), and even better - a pub over the road that does pizzas to eat in or takeaway, as well as a great standard menu and of course… great wine! We are already talking about when we can come and stay again. A wonderful mini break. We left very happy and very relaxed. Thank you so much!

  Our first time to Salthouse after many years spent visiting Thornham and surrounding area further up the coast. It has mad a wonderful change. The cottage has been comfortable and very well-equipped. The girls have especially enjoyed the choice of gardens for a game of football. We walked to Cley one day along the beach - great weather. To Blakeney and back from Cley stocking up on goodies from the Cley Deli, then buying lots of interesting books from the second-hand bookshop. I made my first trip to Cromer where we enjoyed learning about it history, then to Overstrand to see the cliff erosion. Off for our second meal at The Dun Cow where the food is excellent. We would love to come back again. We went up to the church where there is a small football pitch. We played a match - The Radford Rovers vs Fiorentina Azurri. The locals came to watch and were very impressed. Very happy Benji the dog who loved it as much as we did. Thank you.

  We have had a wonderful time staying at this lovely cottage, which is a converted barn. Everything is beautifully clean, organised, and tastefully decorated. It is situated in a prime position in the country, where it is quiet and peaceful, and yet just a few miles from the sea with sandy beaches. The owners, Ben and Helen, were very kind and helpful, ensuring everything we needed was supplied. Ian, the local gentleman in charge of the practical side, was also very thoughtful and helpful, with nothing being too much trouble to answer any questions about the working of equipment of which we were unaccustomed to using. He even provided a long extension lead, so my husband did not have to get his mobility scooter out of the car to charge it. The hot tub was a special treat, as was the welcome package and card!   Overall the property is really nice. It is really spacious, which was great for 4 adults and 2 younger children. The location is also great, with the pub across the road, the beach nearby and all local attractions within a short drive. There are also some lovely walks from the property (which are also suitable for running). The parking is good, suitable for 2 cars and there’s plenty of on street parking as well. However, with the property being advertised as more upmarket, there were a few little aspects which were disappointing (but may sound petty!), such as the quality and lack of kitchen utensils and unkept lawn. The high chair and travel cot (we brought our own mattress thankfully) were welcomed, but there were no stair gates. Overall it was a nice place to stay, and the location was prefect.

  This house was perfect for our multi-generational family holiday. It had everything we could possibly need. The garden was really secure and perfect for the dog, so much so that we felt able to leave him outside by himself knowing he couldn't escape. The kitchen was really well equipped with everything you could possibly need. We also really appreciated the 2 separate sitting rooms, both with T.V.s The house in nicely situated just over the road from a very nice restaurant/pub. It is wise to book early if you wish to eat there as it's very popular. There are many nice beaches within a reasonable distance including Overstrand which is walkable.
