I had a very nice week in moybella lodge its in a quiet location with beautiful scenery, the house itself was perfect, comfortable and spotless clean with all the facilities and amenities needed and just a mile from lisselton where there is a pub, restaraunt and petrol station/shop for daily essentials and for anything else the towns of listowel and ballybunion are nearby, i dont drive so i cycle and found listowel to be a 20 minute cycle away and ballybunion 10/15 minutes away so very handy for someone like me, wnen i arrived i was met by angela who was really nice and had some fruit and a couple of bottles of water for me and showed me around the house, i later that day met maurice who was very friendly and chatty and told me i could knock at their door if i needed any help which fortunately i didnt, some people might be afraid or put off by the family dog but shouldnt be he is a very well trained and well behaved german shepherd and isn't at all a nuisance and certainly not a danger and is mostly indoors anyway, overall i got very good value for my money and couldnt be happier with my week in moybella lodge and would recommend to anyone

Thank you so much for having us to stay at 83 Upper John Street, Wexford, Ireland.
I cannot fault the location of the property with its proximity to Main street, shops and places to eat and walk the dog. I really felt at home there by the end of the week. Also, the cost of the place was spot on, working out to be under £50pp/night. A couple of points if I may, the parking situation was a bit of a bother as we were coming and going a fair bit, maybe offer a weekly permit at a cost instead? The car park next to Jim McGees was good and always had spaces but took only coins and meant loading up the car was a bit of a pain. The location was spot on for us but not for the dog or it seemed the other dogs in the area so I would warn people of the sleep disruption (it said no loud music after 10pm in the info book but wouldnât have mattered as half the dogs in the road and the pub closing meant we barely got any sleep anyway

We have been renting cottages from Hogan's /Sykes for a number of years now, and have seen all kinds and types of cottage some good, some not so good, but I have to say this one is by far 'The' best We have stayed in.
People ,often come on these feedback columns, and moan about things ( albeit in their mind totally justified) I can't find a single thing to say against this accommodation. The ,location was brilliant, everything in the cottage worked, it had central heating which most of the Irish cottages do not have. The cottage was purpose built by Maurice ( owner) for his mother in ,law, so obviously he has put evefrytbhibg in to to make her life comfortable. She ;passed and now he rents it out, all the people who go there will be getting the benefit of the effort he ;put into it for her So to sum up, this is a 1st ,class cottage, with a good owner, who likes to crack endless jokes with his clientele, I found him very endearing, and he cares about what his customers want No I am not related to bhim and he is not my brother lol !.

It was a lovely well thought out and cosy cottage in a good location.
Perhaps not too good for the infirm as the bar stools by the kitchen counter were rather high and there was no other chair anywhere apart from the two sofas so eating was difficult. But that was us rather than the cottage anyone younger would be fine. The decoration was tastefully done and Fiona and William were very supportive with our minor problems of working the Sky TV and the ultra modern electric cooker. We cook with gas at home and don't have Sky so these were complicated and the instructions had been lost. On the whole a lovely base to visit this area which has plenty of interest for photographers. If we weren't so old we would be back!

This is a lovely cottage.
It has been totally refurbished internally but externally it retains the typical rural cottage look. There is a large garden area which our dog loved: unfortunately, as we were there in mid December and during storm Barra, it was too cold, wet and windy for the humans to enjoy being outside. Situated in the heart of the Burren, it is a perfect base for exploring the fascinating history and landscape. Travel times to Galway and Limerick are not too long and the coast is easily reached - Lahinch is less than 30 minutes travel. I recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful and rural stay without sacrificing good household amenities.
