  Great little cabin.

  It was very comfortable and a nice place to relax in the evening after a day out exploring the area. Everything was clean and in good condition. There was a small fenced private garden for our dog to enjoy (we could have as well, but it was a little cold in the evenings still). The cabin is in a nice quiet location, and the driveway is gated. Finally, the owner Suzy was great. She answered every question we had before we got there and checked on us while we were there to ensure everything was going good. Even though we never actually met in person on this visit, we knew she would have fixed any issue that may have come up. This was a great stay and we would definitely stay again.

  The Butler’s House is wonderful and full of character and charm. My family had a lovely, tranquil stay and our labrador had the time of his life exploring the grounds and the woods adjacent to the property. The fireplace really is a main feature of this lovely house and to have access to unlimited wood is a rarity for a holiday cottage. The kitchen is small but functional although it could do with a microwave. The walk to the pub is 0.2 of a mile so you’re there in no time and it’s really nice. Customer service has been great throughout and after we left, they found one of our baby blankets and posted it to us straight away. We would definitely stay again.

  Amazing cottages, our whole family loved it.

  The cottages themselves from the outside look small but as you walk in they are like a tardis. Very spacious, clean, great views and generally lovely. Having the views and stables in your back garden was a wonderful addition. Very quiet at night and only heard the horses when we fully opened the windows. We had an issue with our shower, the plumber came out same day and changed it, could not fault the team they were amazing. Definitely highly recommend these cottages. Short drive from Weymouth beach and not far from all the sites. We all had such a lovely week away.

  Nicely decorated and modern.

  Good location to visit places. Roads too busy nearby to run or walk along. Footpaths through fields lovely for the dog to run. Horses an added bonus to see and hear. Lacking a personal touch of fresh milk and local cake or products on arrival after our long journey. Towels and linen basic quality but clean. I always enjoy a visitors book to see which places to visit on recommendations rather than trial and error. Comfy stay. Please consider a Saturday changeover day as Friday traffic terrible and you need to take an extra Friday off work.

  We've just returned from staying at Owl's Nest and it was just amazing.

  The property is perfect for a family with a dog (or without!) We were amazed at how big and spacious it was. The furnishings are really comfy and it's lovely and comfy. The kitchen is well stocked with utensils and everything you need to create some great meals. It's beautifully clean and having 2 bathrooms just makes it that bit easier. The house is in a lovely setting and location, just a few miles from Poole and the beach at Sandbanks. Chrissie, the owner is super helpful and welcoming. We'll definitely be coming back !!
