Although we did have a nice week at eventide it was adequate for our stay there were a few things which wouldâve made the stay more enjoyable.
Overall it was clean and the bathroom was nice. The cooking facilities were very difficult to understand with very limited instructions to anything. In fact we gave up with oven and hob after just about understanding the microwave! The tv was quite an issue as only internet viewing unless you down loaded apps! Made watching very difficult. And on a wet February week we felt some tv was needed. The hot water also In the kitchen and bathroom sink stopped working half way through week too. And the beds had to be the hardest Iâve ever slept on! But maybe some people like them like that. Definitely if yiu are tall or not very mobile you will find this place challenging. And the key to the front door was bent too. This place could be so much nicer with just a bit more thought to some small things.

This property was ideal for us as we needed six bedrooms. The hot tub has previously been the pull for younger family members, but now it will be a tennis court; popular with whole family. Property well equipped. It’s a superb location, seems remote but well placed for sights and beaches. The field in front was great for family football matches, I have the bruises to prove it! Would definitely recommend to others. Two large supermarkets in easy reach.

A great property for our family party of 10 adults across 2 generations - plenty of space, great dining area, comfortable beds and good showers. We loved the tennis court, games room, hot tub, BBQ... Car essential but a good location for touring south east Cornwall/south west Devon - Plymouth, Rame penisula, Eden project, Looe - and even north to Tintagel and Newquay. Some tweaks needed on cleaning and equipment to make it superb.

We loved the cottage, it was cosy and very quiet and well placed for what we wanted to do.
However the mattress was so firm (and we like a firm mattress) we did not sleep well and ached when we got up. Also the hot water did not work and we had to boil the kettle to wash up. Thankfully this did not affect the shower.
