It’s just a 5-minute stroll to the historic heart of the town. Wander its cobbled lanes lined with plane trees, where boutiques, antique shops and bustling cafés spill onto atmospheric squares. The town’s renowned Wednesday market is a sensory feast, brimming with local produce, cheeses, lavender and handcrafted goods.

Art lovers will find inspiration at every turn; this is the very town that captured Vincent van Gogh, who painted many of his masterpieces during his stay at the Saint-Paul-de-Mausole monastery on the edge of the town.
